I like the properties of the material, and it seems okay, but as I was putting it on, it ripped a little near the zipper because of the design. I wish the zipper was in the middle of one side, instead of the edge of one side.

I also worried it would make a crispy plastic sound, which drives me nuts. The underside has a plastic-y layer but its soft and very flexible and doesn't make a crunchy sound at all. Of course, within the week my daughter had a huge spill on the bed and I was worried some of the moisture would have leaked through. Not a drop. Not at all. The mattress was completely dry. The mattress protector stopped all moisture. We easily removed the protector and it washed and dried up perfectly. We put it back on and all is like new. Totally worth the money! My mom actually got the whole house this product to put on all our beds and I had to get one for myself on my California king when I got a place of my own. You can’t tell it’s on what so ever and it’s definitely water proof! Very comfortable and nice material all the way around. It also was very easy to put on I was capable of doing it myself without a problem. Definitely not easy to rip either but I still was careful regardless. I actually moved my bed from one place to another with my old cover on it and it never tore or anything it protected my mattress the whole time. I had to get another because it was stained so it made it look dirty.

I search through a ton of mattress protectors. I’m trying to get my son out of pull ups at nighttime. I can’t say if it’s waterproof, but I seen a video of someone pouring water on there’s and it looked ok. The only concern I had while watching the video was how it would do if a child wet the bed and having that much body weight on the mattress. It’s a big difference between pouring water on a mattress and a person laying on a bed. So I hope it really is waterproof bc I just bought the mattress. My second thing was I wanted my mattresses to be zipped up and protected bc we live in a building and you just never can be to careful. Over all I feel like I went with a good brand. I like it. It’s nice and sturdy also my king size bed as you can see in the picture is large and I also have a added topper I was scared it wouldn’t fit but it did. It just took a bit more wiggling.
