***Update*** After leaving a bad review they emailed me and said they would refund my purchase. So I changed my review. The refund never came. I purchased two sets of these, one for myself and one for my mom. Neither of us was refunded. Clearly, they just want people to leave positive reviews but these things DO NOT WORK. Not only are they non effective, all 4 of mine have stopped working entirely.Incredible company with excellent customer service. They back up their products, if you have an issue they will make it right. I didn't really even ask for that, they contacted me. The pest repellents have been in my yard for over two month still working well. I did have a waterproof issue with one of them. I bought some for my mom as well.**the are not for chipmunks** However I do see less of themJust for an FYI, if you are installing in GA clay you will need a metal stake to drive into the ground to make a large enough hole .

+++ Update +++Livin' Well's customer service reached out to me shortly after the original review and sent me a new set of stakes as the ones I purchased were likely faulty. These ones seems to work.I will change the star rating to 5 as they stand behind their product and should they not work just send them back for a refund.-------Installed easy, just stick them in the ground.They do go off every 30 seconds but moles are still around and thriving.It's been a week now and they are still diggin holes around these "mole repellents".Think twice before ordering.

Bought a four pack to see if this could help me get rid of whatever was burrowing and tearing up my yard as I didn’t want kill traps. Started off with the stakes close together and it seemed to work great at first but when I began to slowly space them out, needless to say, my yard was torn up again. Putting them close a second go round doesn’t seem to be working even though they are still two inches above ground per manufacturer’s instruction. With how small my yard is, four should be more than enough and the thought of having to purchase any more is laughable. If you have a small yard and don’t move them, you might stand a chance but I can’t say I’d recommend this product to anyone.***UPDATE*** After my original review, Livin' Well reached out and sent me four new solar pest repellant stakes and I was able to observe a considerable difference. Chipmunks were becoming impossible to get rid of at my home and it felt like nothing was working let alone could save my pumkins. Fortunately, this new batch helped clear that issue up and I was able to save my lawn, pumpkins, and sanity. Thank you Livin' Well for reaching out and working to ensure only the best outcomes for your customers.

The jury is still out as I have not yet had time to try in my garden. This did not work for squirrels (in my car). I will be trying them out for moles, snakes and skunks around the yard, under my shed. The solar batteries seem to hold up well. They are a little on the noisy side, if you are working around them for a long period ... they vibrate slightly and also send out a periodic beep signal, which is annoying, so one would think it would be annoying to animals as well. I have similar units for mice inside the house, and they are very quiet, but run from the wall plugs. Those seem to work well; mice have been almost non-existent for about a year, which is why I thought I would try these for some larger rodents.

Instructions are clear and fine. I didn't need them. I've been through maybe 5 different sets of these things. Various brands and models. I seem to always find them with my tractor.1st, this set has an on off switch that is a bottom facing push button. I found this annoying as id have to check the position over and over again. If you push this unit down and the ground presses the button, it turns itself off. Switches that slide are much better.Out of the box, 2 units flat out didn't work. So I had 6 "useable' ones. It's been 4 days since this install and about half of those 6 work. They all are muffled and the the length of time they keep is half a second at a time. I think 1, maybe 2 might be beeping as it should. But it's not loud.I installed my previous vole destroyers in the yard where the malfunctioning units from this order were installed. They still work like a champ. Even after the tractor for a couple.I would not recommend this brand of these. They are all cheap but some are cheaper then others. Go for a larger range instead of quantity. Also, use a wooden stand hammered into to the ground to make your hole for your vole destroyers shaft. Way better then a shovel!Happy hunting.

Been having problems with some pesky moles for a few years now. My Wife had purchased some of these from a local big box store and they worked great, but over time they died out. So I found these, checked the reviews and decided to give them a try. There are more than enough in the box and they work amazing!! Literally within days the moles have left the perimeter of the house and seemed to have skipped town. lolWill definitely keep purchasing these!!
