Special Needs Swim Diaper - Reusable Swim Diapers (XS-Size 6/8-Waist:17-24"; Weight: 40-58 pds, Pink)

My special needs daughter outgrew the disposable swim diapers so I decided to buy her this usable swim diaper. She can put it on independently and it holds tight to her very skinny legs and thin waist. Very good quality. I plan on buying her the next size up when the time comes.

Works great for my 7 year old daughter with special needs (43) lbs. Good fit, well made, delivered very quickly.

So far, so good. My daughter is 4.5 yrs old about 40 lbs. and the diaper fit well, no accidents.

These are very good, they really keep everything in. We had a few accidents in the pool and nothing came out.

It is so hard to find a swim diaper for my special needs daughter. She is 4 years old but the size of a 6 year old. I can never find disposable ones and rarely had luck getting properly fitting reusable ones. I love this one. It fits her so well (she is 46lbs and 44" tall) The best thing about this specific one is that it is MACHINE WASHABLE!!!!!!!! This is important because when they do have an accident I'm never comfortable with just hand washing.

I measured my daughters waist and the recommended size fit perfectly. Very high quality.

I really can't review this item as i had to return and reorder 2 sizes bigger. the package contains much more thorough sizing information like leg circumferance, which i didn't have at ordering. this info is very important since there were 4 sizes under the waist size of 24" that my son has! I The pair my son has was purchased 8 years age and have held up great, even the elastic hasn't given out, except for, well the size tag!

My daughter just 'tested' these and I'm happy to report they held everything in! I would love a less aggressive color personally, but no one ever sees them but me so I guess it's no big deal.Editing the review now that I have had them a while: Still pleased with the product. The diaper I bought has now worn out, and I will be replacing it with the same product. If you fill them with what my daughter fills them with, there is no way to avoid a hot wash to get them clean and clean-smelling, which I think shortens the life of the fabric somewhat. Between accidents I just rinsed the chlorinated water out and let air-dry. She wears them with swim shorts or a wetsuit-style swimsuit, and in neither case is it obvious she is wearing another layer of protection. Cleanup after an accident is not fun, as when you pull them down everything comes out as once (don't try outside a shower stall!). But I don't know how you would make undoing the diaper easier without sacrificing the retaining capacity.
