actually, im not sure. i never paid attention to the total bars per package. i do know that the gang loved the bars and they all had 5 grams of protein each which is why i purchased them. good quality product without the dry oaty taste.

Q: How does this qualify as a Protein bar with only 5 grams?

the reason is these bars are for young kids not adults. if your kids are not eating well then these bars provide protein that is needed for their bodies to perform and grow. they taste great and the flavors are exceptional. they are firm and not sticky. great bars try em.
