Amazing Amish Rockers
These rockers are amazing! I bought two for my son and daughter in law for a house warming gift and they loved them. She wanted the black and it is a deep black color. They are super roomy, comfortable, and easy to get in and out of (I am handicap and it was sturdy enough for my access issues). Well worth the money. All you need is Ice Tea and a porch to rock on. Love it.

Great rocking chair, arms could be a little taller for Southerners
Nice, sturdy, big chair. A set of qualities I couldn't find locally. I have bought and tried rocking chairs from various local vendors over the last couple decades and this one seems to be the most comfortable. It was made for shorter people in the under 6' range I think, the arm rests are way down there but it hasn't really detracted from my experience. It does creak when I initially sit it in a bit, but I think that will ease over time and when I'm in it and rocking it feels really solid, not really any noise other than the normal rocking. The cup holders are nice, but they don't really fit a coffee mug which the morning is mainly when I use this. My coffee mug just sits over the top of the hole for cups and I have to make sure it doesn't tip into the whole. I think i am going to modify those a bit to fit the mugs. But since the arms rests are kind of low for me those cup holders become a natural place to hold onto and that's kind of nice too.

Beautiful rocking chairs on my deck.
Very easy to assemble. Color of cedar wood is lovely. Very comfortable and sturdy. There could have been some additional finish sanding on the skin touching parts of the chair (seat, arms). My husband loves the way the chair supports his back. Would like to have matching putty to fill in the holes where the screws are.

Impressive
This rocking chair is very strong sturdy and well made, it's not easy to move around due to the weight the rocker commands to be noticed, also it is very comfortable (no need for a cushion but would be a plus) seat you at the right height it's not too low right off hand I don't see any issues with the finish at this time, the chair is easy to assemble with the correct tools. With all the good I've said there is one annoying thing about this rocker and it could be a deal breaker it 😒squeaks and knocks while you're rocking I've checked all the screws to make sure all are tight and also made sure it's sitting completely on the floor (not floor & rug) but it's still too noisy for me, I will give this rocker a couple of days to settle since it is wood and I do love it.

Very heavy, sturdy, excellent customer service
We stained ourselves. Very heavy, sturdy built rocker. We liked well enough to buy a second one. One came with a broken slat, contacted the seller and sent a pic of the piece. We had a new slat in 2 days. Excellent customer service.

Possible design problem
We've had the rocker for more than 3 months. It's very sturdy, great size, fairly easy to assemble. Why only 3 stars? By the end of the day and after moderate use, the rocker has "traveled" nearly a foot to the right and a foot backwards. It maybe a design flaw or a manufacturing error.

Bad So-called Wood
This item is described on Amazon as made of pine wood. It turned out to be very flimsy. I varnished it and took good care of it after I assembled it perfectly. Shortly thereafter, I started to hear creaking sound when using it back and forth. I thought the screws needed to be tightened, which I started to do, but the screws and the bolts went through the wood, which started to crack even before being fully tightened. I purchased washers and tried to tighten the screws again. To my surprise, the washers penetrated the wood, as seen in the attached image. I will see if Amazon can get me a refund to buy another strong wood chair.
