I bought these to replace the standard spring kit that I originally bought to replace the air bags . Not only do they help get rid of the bag sag but they offer a sportier firmer ride without loosing any significant comfort (this also depends on your tires and shocks YMMV)The car will sit higher in the rear then the average panther platform car with airbags or the standard springs after they take their initial set .If you want a lower ride look the HD replacement springs may not be for you, as for me I have a Limo suspension on my car ( Reasons +++ sized American and I live in a rural area ) so the front of my car is abnormally higher then the rear and the HD kit helped raise it up closer to level (still lower on my car due to the stiffer front end setup of the Limo suspension on specific car) If you have a standard front end height this will get you level or a little higher in the rear on most cars and better cornering stability in my opinion.My over all ride quality is not as soft as my car was with the factory suspension but it is not sports car stiff either and for my general purpose and everyday driving on Texas roads it is very comfortable and it no longer bottoms out when you get out in the rough stuff and has less body roll for my specific setup .Installation was a little harder then the standard replacement spring kits due to the stiffer coils but still something that can be done in the driveway with the right tools and help from a friend .***** Warning be very careful any time you work on anything under a vehicle and do not attempt if you can not properly support the vehicle and springs under a load are very dangerous *****

Got my car perfectly level and riding good.

The spring are worth every penny took me about a hour 30 minutes to install by myself the bottom cups will not fit on the axle but you don't need them for the axle just on the frame now im not worried about the air bags going bad and being stuck somewhere

10 days and so far it has been perfect.Where I work , on the lift, with a friend's help using a long bar to push the axle down one side at a time, took less than 7 minutes each side. Bag out. Spring in. Hight is right and ride is tight.

The media could not be loaded. Used for replacement of air bags they are same hight had to put some spacers to match front hight really easy though

I have had these for about 5 months now and they are GREAT to get rid of your sag on your crown vic or grand marquis! I do a lot of towing with my car (towing other cars) and it doesn’t sag an inch when hooked up and still a very comfortable ride with Gabriel 43140 Rear Spring Assist Load Carrier Shocks! If your going to use these and still want a comfort ride go with the shocks i used you will be very happy with the results! Great coil springs
