These are really good pegs, they hold well and they seem weather resistent so far. Our old plastic pegs fell apart after a couple of years of UV so these will hopefully last longer.

My last batch of wooden pegs I bought 20 years ago, never bought them again, that is until now. Over the years the total diminished with age.I did read a lot of Amazon reviews on different wooden pegs, although most are good, I required at least 100+ pegs, and this seller was also recently recommended by the Amazon choice.A one off purchase is currently at review £13.49 for 100 pegs, cheaper on subscribe and save £12.82.So I ask myself a peg isn’t just a peg any more, no one will find ( I would imagine) a strong peg like in the 70s & 80s, strength has changed and more environmental friendly.I checked all my pegs for rough edges, whether the spring is decent and working, size and pegging out my washing. The spring fills half the peg, so the wooden part of the peg are not as lengthy let’s say to larger pegs that have depth. However for pegging out normal washing, sheets, towels, jeans, tee shirts, sweaters etc, these pegs are appropriate.Anything with strength possibly wouldn’t hold, ie, a heavy dog bed which is padded.The pegs are said to be windproof, a decent spring to hold the peg together. Can be left out over night.The pegs are made of Birchwood, and do work well. The size of the pegs 8cm x 1cm, the peg spring is recyclable.The pegs I received are perfect size and shape. Being disabled I have a lot of washing, every day in fact, and these pegs do not dig in my washing, work well, and I cannot find fault with them. Not the cheapest pegs on Amazon, however as I write thousands of reviews for Amazon Vine, I do recommend these pegs. I bought these pegs, and when I need any more, there is no question I will buy more with this supplier. I still can not find the perfect peg. although these pegs looked good and strong they still did not stop the clothes from sliding on line ..on some items of washing they kept a good grip on thicker items like towels but they would catch the clothes because of spelts in wood.I have wasted loads of money on FINDING THE PEG

I bought these pegs few years ago now, and was wondering just how long they would last without seperting, as some the other sprung type wooden ones due regularly,well have used these now for couple years, and can admit that the way the spring is on these ones compaired to those other wooden ones, these are by far a lot better quality.I know as some say on other reviews, they are lot more costly than the opposition, but you only get what you pay for
