We bought this light awhile back and barely got it put in. I enjoy it and feel a difference in my home. I always could smell a dirt smell in my home, and I couldn't get rid of it. We turned this sucker on, and I don't smell it. My home is kind of closed off only because most of our windows are painted over so its hard to open all windows. Due to that we use air purifiers, and we decided to try this, and it works. It helps clean the air that flows in the ducts and works for what it is! Only downfall is the brightness in the hallway we see but it's not too bad. It is a decent size and I'll be buying extra bulbs just in case they go out. Buy it, you'll be happy you did!

Hands down the best!The best investment I’ve ever made in protecting my family.1) Install it on the air intake ductwork as you will not want it fluctuating indirectly temperature from high or low hitting the bulbs and yes, you must change these lights bulbs about every six months. And install it away from any way that kids could look or see the light as this UV rated.2) If your kids come home SICK from school, from all the cooties that they pick up at school, the next day they will be ready to go back to school like nothing never happened.Even us as adults. Numerous times while I’m at work I have felt like a flu or a cold coming on and the next day after being at home, i’ll wake up the next day as if nothing ever happened.3) If you have any mildew in your home, consider it gone. I have an English bulldog and his eyes were always full of the crusty and all sorts of nasty gunk around his eyes. The minute I install this product it was gone. The vet was telling us that it’s his eyelid hair and no, it was the air quality in the house result of musty and nasty mess coming out of the vent.

I bought the product and had it installed in January of 2023. During my annual tune up in September of 2024, I was informed that the lights were no longer working. The tech. replaced the bulbs and plugged the unit in and the bulbs tried to go on but did not. The tech determined the unit had failed. But he did comment that the unit was doing a good job of keeping the ducts clean. I am reordering the same unit because it worked well until it failed, and I have extra bulbs that I purchased. Also, I am hoping the new unit will last longer than 21months.

Musty mold odor gone the moment I plugged it in, and that's with me needing to clean the indoor coils! The only thing I regret is not purchasing 2 of these!

Very pleased. Very easy to install, includes hole saw in the exact size. Plugs into 110 volt outlet. An LED indicator for each light socket lets you know that each bulb is working. Other reviews stated these bulbs last a few thousand hours, I just plan on buying new bulbs in a few years, when needed. Might even buy now & store nearby. These are the correct wavelength, do the research UV-c is the way to go. Could be luck of the draw, but I installed these while I was very sick, no other family member got sick.

I started to smell burning (not ozone) a week or so after installing it. Then it went away, but it only went away because the fuse popped. The ballast had burned out. I contacted the seller, and they sent me another unit as soon as they had one. I installed it today fingers crossed it works.

I installed three of these in my new hvac system. Before and after the expansion coil and one in the main plenum. Had installed about a year and they are still working and I have had no mold growth. Led lights on the outside tell you if they are still working. I know the bulbs will need replacing so I bought a few years worth of replacement bulbs also from Amazon. The only downside is that these uv lights will deteriorate the air filter if it shines on them. I have to make sure and change filters ( the 4" thick ones) at no more than 6 month intervals. The lack of mold is enough reason to buy and replace air filters more often in my opinion.

To make the story short - I've started getting musty smells 6 months ago - I thought it was spoiled food or dirty socks of my kids somewhere in the house, but then I smelt it from the AC vents. I cleaned the in-house coils with foam and installed two sets of these lights right after I received these - one above the coils and another behind the coils in front of the blower which is also facing the drain pain (that's where a lot of stink accumulates) - took me about 40 minutes for both (I did very quality work and took my time). I'm grateful they ship you the saw bit and a drill so all you need is just a screw driver gun / drill.. Very easy install - just measure correctly.Results - the musty smells are gone (Yahoo!!!) and the air doesn't smell at all! Very impressive The air feels cold and clean! One other huge difference I noticed which is very impressive, is before the install when we were cooking the cooking odor would travel throughout the whole house naturally and sucked via the return and then the whole house would have that odor, now after the install that cooking odor is gone - I think it's the bulbs clear that smell..Overall, for a bit over $ 100 (for two units) I get high air quality - VERY impressed and pleased.
