I've been dealing with a PF issue in my left foot for the better part of a year. These gel sleeves were a great find to provide some heel pain relief and, hopefully, aid the long, slow healing process that comes with PF. I am using them along with an orthotic. The combination of the two with the extra cushion coming from this gel sleeve and the firm support provided by the orthotic has been a good approach for me.I've not yet experienced any problems with these sleeves, but they do require a small amount of care & maintenance. I swap out for a fresh one each morning and give the old one a quick wash with warm water and mild soap. I've also found that dusting them with talc or powder (I use talc-based Baby Powder) just before wearing helps immensely with getting it on and positioned correctly. It also helps to provide all-day comfort with fewer sweat-related issues.I wear a sock over them at all times. It takes a little extra work to get things well-positioned, but it's not difficult and once in good shape it stays in place until I take it off at the end of the day. They are thin enough that I can easily wear athletic socks over them and still comfortably fit into my athletic shoes (with orthotics) for my daily workouts. I don't intend to wear these without socks, but if one wanted to they could without being conspicuous. The neutral color and translucence make them barely noticeable. However, I suspect the additional friction from not wearing socks over them would significantly shorten the service life.Overall a very good and inexpensive aid for those dealing with heel pain from Plantar Fasciitis and/or heel spurs.

These might take some getting used to. They're definitely cushy but for some, they may be a bit snug. My husband had trouble with them being too tight but I tried them on and they fit fine on my ankles/feet. They have a funny feel when you're not used to walking on rubbery texture, but they're comfortable and they warm up with your foot and you adjust. I didn't forget I had them on but they're much better than initially. If you put them on and stand and they feel strange, give them some time. They're good cushion for the heels.

These are useless for every and any reason you can imagine. They are toooo big so they move around easily as you walk. They make your feet sweat profusely which makes them move around even more. The gel they're comprised of does absolutely nothing for plantar fasciitis because there is absolutely NO compression. This purchase was a waste of money. It's actually a big scam. Don't fall for it.

This item does work to relieve the pain of PF, and they were great to wear with flip flops in the summer, but the first day I wore the with closed shoes and warm socks, I had a bad reaction. The skin actually peeled off of the area these inserts covered, leaving a painful rash and angry red scratches that lingered for nearly a month. I had washed the sleeves every night after wear so they were clean; it wasn't a sanitation issue. My feet normally don't sweat with warm socks in boots but the covered area prevented air from circulating. My feet were a mess and I haven't worn them again since. That said, they really did bring comfort during the summer, much more than the shoe insert type of PF aid. So I have mixed feelings about them. I'm not sure I'd recommend them although I don't think any other brand of these "sleeve" style devices would be any different. Seller fulfilled order very quickly.

This product did just what I wanted it to, which is not necessarily what it was designed for. I have a leg length discrepancy and I wanted to wear a lift and hold it to my foot while walking around in socks or even barefoot. When I looked at the pictures it seemed that the product rose high on the achilles and not as far toward the arch of the foot in some pictures and the opposit in others. In fact, it IS longer in one direction but can be worn either way. I placed the longest side under my foot and slipped a lift between the gel and my heel. It took some getting used to and adjusting, but I can wear it all day and even in sandals. It is a little sticky (good for keeping in the lift) so I have to open the sandals. With socks on, I can slip into any shoe I want (I use a shoe horn) without having to move a lift or orthodic from one shoe to another.As intended, this product provides a gentle cushioning without a lot of bulk. It will also keep your shoes from slipping on the heel. (They are a little tight in a woman's dress shoe). I was worried they would be hot, but I have not found that to be the case. I live in the desert, so dry heat may help in this respect. As an added bonus, my heels are now soft and smooth. You can't wear them to bed; they stick to the sheets!AMENDMENT: So after 8 days of wearing these (never barefoot outdoors) a small tear showed up in the top ankle portion of the one I do NOT use the lift in. I do not know what might have nicked that part of the product, but as I worried, it is growing longer and I suspect will render protector unusable very soon. I thought I was being very careful putting them on and taking them off and not over stretching them.

While this cushion does provide comfort one of my cushions split in half the first day I used it. The split was on the top of the foot and seperated completely in half. The cushion is good but the quality is sadly not acceptable.

Fantastic products. I felt instant relief and not only that a cooling sensation. I wear these under my socks either in shoes are just around the house. My pain was so severe that I went to the emergency room because of the pain all the way to my hip and I could no longer walk on my left leg. I was so glad these did exactly what they were advertised as. I still wear them even though the pain is gone now. I will not go anywhere without them.
