Duct Connector 8 Inch (7.68 inch) Flange Metal Straight Pipe Flange for Heating Cooling Ventilation System

This pipe flange mates perfectly with 8" flexible hose, which is precisely what I wanted it for. Added benefits include the fact that it does not have sharp edges so you won't cut yourself easily on the edge like other sheet metal products. It is also fairly rigid and will not ding up easily, again like most other sheet metal products for venting. I'm using it to redirect AC from a window unit with an 8" flexible hose and it works perfectly for this purpose. I installed it using duct tape, but there are also holes on the flat corners of the unit that you could use to bolt to a structure. Recommendable product if you need such an animal.

This is a perfect fit for my Vevor 25 ft duct.

I did not install the flange yet, but it is very high quality; no seams, no weld joins, very well finished. It seems a little flimsy, but the metal is similar thickness to other styles of flanges, so I would expect them to be the same.

I had hoped the measurement was for the outermost ring (which it was) and the angle started a little way in (but it was right near the edge). I started trimming the drywall to set this through the opening with the square end touching my vent cover. I ended up setting it inside the drywall instead.
