lovely material; highly recommended
The name of the product holds true and is definitely a lightweight clay once dry. I find that the clay is easier to manipulate after being placed on a wet paper towel. The product becomes more easy to smooth over and cover material. The wet paper towel also helps to keep the clay from drying out when they are out of the bag that they have come in. The clay is smooth and easy to work with and sands down very easily, making it ideal for my project; highly recommended and will most likely buy again when the circumstance for this product is needed arises once again.

My favorite air drying clay!
I've brought all my social media followers to this particular clay! It's perfect for every mold there is! Whether it's a shallow or deep detailed mold. It has an hour or more open time before drying out. It's so easy to use especially if you get cramps in your hands. Pull it out of the package and straight into your mold. It doesn't stick to your hands at all! Love love this product! I always keep at least 3 packages.

Incredible
This is a wonderful stone clay all around; it's soft, incredibly smooth, and most importantly, lightweight. I find that it's perfect for making ball-jointed dolls because it's so light and pleasurable to sculpt. It can take a lot of detail and isn't springy like some other clays. Another plus is that it has no odor, and unlike paper clays, will actually sand down to a smooth, not fibrous, surface. Sanding is also incredibly easy. As for strength, it's really going to depend on how thick your piece is. It's not chip resistant, but it is fairly durable, just take caution with thinner pieces. Also, it can dry out kind of quickly, so I suggest only taking out what you're going to use and store the rest in a plastic bag that can seal. Keeping a cup of water to moisten your hands and the clay is also very helpful and if you wet pieces, they stick to each other better when adding new layers.

Pretty good for high detail
The first thing that caught me off guard was how slimy the clay felt, but I quickly got used to it. It handles extremely well, and doesn't crack much at all when using enough water. I like this better than other paper clay brands I've tried. Small detailed figures are easy enough to make if you have patience to deal with super wet clay. Thin pieces don't crack like I was expecting. My only complaint is that it's taking a lot longer to dry than listed on the package.

Shocking smooth, light and easy to work with
I'm a sculptor of over 10 years who works in oil clay, water based clay polymer clay and digital. I am partway through my first piece with this clay and I can already tell you La Doll Premier is amazing smooth, clean, accepting of fine detail and a true revelation for me when I want to build something that hardens and works as a one-off piece. Premier is going to become a permanent part of my tool kit! I'm in shock that I haven't tried it before this! - Jonathan Payne of Payne Sculptures

Great clay, smooth and sturdy finish
This is amazing stuff! There was a bit of a learning curve for me in terms of getting used to the texture, but now I wouldn’t use anything else. I used to use Creative paper clay which I also love- BUT this dries down to a smoother finish and cracks much less. It also dries faster which can be a big plus or a minus depending on what you want to do. But if you work with small bits at a time you’re fine!

Best paper clay!
I've tried almost all paper clays and this is the best for small to medium sculpture. Not as soggy as most paperclays, easier to sculpt, dries very strong and light. Can be carved and sanded with ease! I usually use the cheaper clays to bulk out a sculpture and use this for details as it's pretty pricey. Also can be mixed fairly well with other Activa paper based clays.

Very easy to work with
This clay is extremely light weight which shortens the drying time a lot. It's easy to work with and you can moisten it to add details and you can wet it if it starts to dry out in order to mold with it. I made a polar bear about 4 x 3 inches and it was dry within two days. I moistened the clay to add details to the fur. It also sands very easily.
