Purchased this item to redo an old table and chairs I got for free. They came out well and I have no complaints. I was expecting it to be a little softer. I understand it’s burlap. It looks and feels exactly as it should but I read a couple reviews that said it was soft and that was where my confusion originated. I didn’t notice any smell that stuck around for any length of time. I also have plenty of fabric left over to use on other projects.

Nice quality burlap with a perfect tan color. I use a lot of burlap(for holiday craft shows) in 1 yard lengths and am very impressed with the consistency, no waste. It comes folded and I have to iron each piece... with hot iron and steam. Dang, that could be the game changer for me because it'd take a lot of extra time since I use a lot. Again, it is a nice quality burlap for crafting :)

My baby avocado trees that I started from seed have been suffering due to the intense California sun. A friend recommended covering them in burlap. Amazon to the rescue. I cut the pieces and stapled them together to cover the little tree. So far, they have stopped burning, turning black. I am so happy because maybe, just maybe, they will actually survive and I will have fruit in a few years. Small price in burlap to pay for delicious homegrown avocadoes.

The squirrels and birds tore out almost all of the coco fiber liners in my outdoor hanging baskets when building their nests. I replaced the coco fiber liners with this. It looks great. Not sure how long it will last but at least the critters can't shred it.
