I had a fault with a headlight on an old Range Rover Vogue. Garage diagnosed the fault as a faulty headlight ballast control unit and gave me the part number. They also recommended Amazon, as Land Rover wanted about 6X the amount of money for the part. I'd normally try Ebay for parts and hadn't considered Amazon. Good advice- part came very quickly at a terrific price and perfect fix

Good product and quick deliveryTo use on bmw and you want to convert from h7 bulb to xenon this is an amazing product, but you need to use a capacitor to cancel Cambus error and to start the unit.Unit won't start without capacitor or coding.5 * amazing product so far. Just used for Couple of days but I'm happy about it.

Very good and better

Bought in a hurry because I had a lamp out and couldn't get the OSRAM OE part quickly. Burner ignition is slightly slower with this but it seems to work well enough.It feels incredbily cheaply made, I had to bend the pins straight to use it. Unless you're really skint I'd suggest the OE Osram part for £90 or so.

I'm writing this as someone who's only just fitted this to my Saab 9-3, so can't comment on its longevity. However. First impressions were quite decent; it came reasonably well packed and is nice and shiny. When fitting it, though, the main things I noticed were that the pins that push into the headlamp connector are very slim and a bit fragile looking when compared against the original Hella one I removed. I struggled a little to fit this item because, unless you get the pins aligned perfectly, they'll bend easily. It took me 3 goes to get it fitted. The other thing is that, once in place, the screw holes seemed slightly misaligned compared to the original; one of the screws had to be screwed in at a slight angle. I think the plastic on my headlamp may have been flexible enough to cope, but the screwhole was definitely offset a little.Hopefully this will last a while and, if I ever think about it, I may try to revise the review to add an extra * but, given the issues I had when installing (I can't imagine the cost of more robust pins would really break the bank, either way), I think 3*s is fair.
