Light is not working
I initially thought the battery was the issue, but the light still wouldn't work even after replacing it. Since the battery is expensive, this seems like a total waste of money.

Nice magnifier.
This is a fairly nice magnifier, though I thought it would bring things in a little closer. Really like that it has a light built in.

This right here....
This right here is the coolest magnifier! It is perfect for looking at fine print on bottles, papers or just to look at your fingerprints. Awesome!

Good for reading maps
I liked the ergonomics and magnification of this map reading glass lens. Works well when the 3 L.E.D. lights function. The zoom power is mild but clarifying; takes a dime size and blows it up to about a quarter that you can read fine details on. I like that it comes with a soft zipper case and a soft cloth to clean the lens.Dislikes: I've gone thru two sets of batteries in 2 weeks. ( 2 X CR 2016) The watch batteries never worked after I had the item stowed inside the case. Each time I tried using it after an inactive period the lights didn't work b/c the batteries died. There is a small switch (see photo) that I first thought I must have left this switch 'on' when I zipped it closed and that the light must have stayed on the whole time it was stowed. After buying new batteries- I found that there are no markings which way to install- which side faces in/out?Make sure that you leave yourself a little note inside to be sure for the inevitable next time. After figuring out the right way to install batteries (these LiPo's get real hot installed backwards) it was on to the switch.I made sure that the switch was in the off position while inside the case. 2 days later I unzipped the case. Switch said off- but the brand new batteries were dead too. I think that there is something wrong with mine. I'm going to try for a replacement since I really like it when it works.
