amazed how this book really worked
This book is a fantastic book for trying to get rid of this addiction to the internet that more and more people are starting to suffer with for me it playing games online on my ps3 which is something that takes up many hours of my time and when I’m not on my ps3 I’m on the laptop when I worked it out I was spending around 10 hours a day on the internet or my ps3 and something had to be done about it.So started my search for a solution to this problem and after hours of looking I found this book an here and so I decided to download it and I’m so glad I did its sort but very easy to read and understand and has taken me from 10 hours a day on the internet to just a few hours a day on both the laptop and the ps3.When reading the book I felt like I was being given advice by and old friend rather than being told what to do as most books written in this style do. The way in which the author writes is brilliant I was able to follow what the book was saying very easily because of the way the book is all put together. I would recommend this book to anyone with and internet or gaming addiction.

Helpful Advice if the Internet is your Vice
Let's admit it. Most of us are dealing with a slight Internet addiction. We love to go online to chat with our friends or to find the latest news or to search for some fascinating information. I know I visit amazon more than once a day and I'm sure you do too. So when does being online become an addiction? This book explains the different types of internet addiction and also explains the causes of addiction. Are you one of those people who says things like: "What is so great about real life anyway?" I admit I feel that way a lot of the time. I feel that online life is too exciting to give up completely so I find ways of restricting my online time. I think limiting yourself to a few main sites helps to keep Internet addiction in check. Being a part of too many social media sites seems to drain away a lot of time so I use them sparingly. This book may be the read you need to help you discover if Internet addiction is making your life worse. Some people I know who are addicted to the Internet lament the fact that they have few real friends in the real world. This can become a problem. The author of this book encourages you to do things that help you develop real-life friends so you don't become isolated. So I can recommend this book to anyone who spends a lot of time online. It has good advice but it is still going to take a lot of self-control to overcome an addiction.~The Rebecca Review

Friendly advise but not The Ultimate Guide it claims to be
This is a very short, self-published book. More of a friendly advice pamphlet. The author starts by explaining that there are many kinds of internet addiction, gambling, pornography, gaming, social media, etc. Then he goes on to share techniques he used to overcome a problem with social media. He does not talk about the how to side of the other kinds of internet addiction. This is definitely not 'the ultimate guide...' and not worth what I paid for it.If you want some friendly non-professional advice for coping with social media addictions this book is OK.

Ridiculously short book, try support groups instead...
This book is maybe 20 pages long and doesn't contain a lot of useful information. If you really need help on this issue, try going to meetings of Internet and Technology Addicts Anonymous.
