As good or better than Sony
Holds a charge well. High capacity. Seems to be more powerful than original Sony, which are still very good. This brand looks to be the one to get. I wish the Minolta/Sony flash units were designed for these batteries or they somehow ran off them. I'm very pleased with them, but I won't need to by more for a long time if ever. They're running my A65 and A58. These cameras are from 2016 and 2013. It's great to be able to get high quality batteries for them.

The price is right for an after market battery
A good replacement for OEM battery. No problems in my Sony a77II Camera.

How well did it work?
It is an OK substitute for original Sony batteries of same type . However, it does not hold as much power as Sony batteries and so does not last as long before needing recharge. However, it does work and for the price is a good value.

These Batteries are good for backup/in case of emergency. I wouldn't recommend using them on assignments, they will embarrass you

Batteries don't match the Sony OEM
I bought these batteries back in July. When I first tried them out I noticed that my camera would show no more than 89% charge on these batteries. They seemed to work fine though. However, leaving them in the camera with the camera off they discharge a lot faster than the Sony OEM batteries when the camera is not in use. With the Sony batteries I might not have to recharge a battery that was just sitting in the camera for 1-1/2 months in general. However these Kastar batteries needed to be recharged in just a few days. They discharge a lot faster than the Sony OEM batteries. I want to like these batteries, but if they can't match or surpass the Sony OEM batteries I feel there's no point in buying them again.
