As expected
This met our expectations. Used for a Halloween costume but thought we would buy a functional one to maybe use it on the farm or big hunting with our toddler.

This net can be used for bees
We have had problems carpentry bees in our garage, you couldn’t even go in it without them flying around you, we caught 30 of them the first day and they are gone now.

Good bug net
This bug net is pretty good overall. There was, however, a small tear in the side of the net when I received it, but it’s an easy fix. Great reach and large opening for sweeping and catching.

Rescued a Dragonfly
When I received the item, I was a bit confused at how it all went together (there's not that many pieces). It was easy to figure out, and I was able to grab the great LONG handle net, and run to the pool enclosure, and after a few attempts, was able to catch the dragonfly! As I was using it, the extended handle kept collapsing, which was frustrating, but I quickly figured out that it had to be turned, to keep it al the desired length. Each section needs to be tightened when you are using it. It collapsed just fine, and now we are thrilled to have a strong metal pole, that can help rescue flying critters. I also liked that it was pretty wide, which helped immensely when rescuing the dragonfly. I did some research on-line and learned that as it gets dark, a dragonfly and butterfly will stay still until daylight. This poor little guy had been in there for two days and was pretty tired. I did have to bump him very gently, so that I could catch him, and he started flying and with the help of a small ladder, was successful. It was wonderful to see him fly away free without screens being in his way.

Good to have if you like hiking in nature
This is a good item to help catch something.

Okay but not “heavy duty”
I use a net in our larg(ish) garden to catch cabbage moths and thin out the grasshoppers. This is better than my prior net but after a few weeks of moderate use the netting material is seriously frayed in the hoop ring area and not at tip of net where one might expect. The plastic fitting where handle attaches to netting hoop seems weak but so far hasn’t broken and like many nets the hoop keeps coming loose at this fitting. The telescoping, twist-to-tighten handle is pretty good though and perhaps is why seller claims “heavy duty”. For light use this product would be good and I do like the larger net opening and longer but adjustable handle but overall I’ll keep looking for something sturdier.

Convenient
The net seems to be working well for us so far. It reaches high up which is an advantage.

Flimsy net
The net is very poorly constructed and flimsy. There were about a dozen strings hanging from the hem. The top edge of the net was made of cheap material that looks about to rip when the net is assembled.
