I kind of love this yarn
The important bit: I thought I’d use this yarn for socks. Nope. No stretch, and it’s really close to a lace weight. I put some comparison yarns in there so you can see just how slender it is. The other variegated is an independent sock yarn which I’d say is right on for fingering weight, and the black is a Knitpicks Hawthorn, which is a little large for a fingering weight. Also, the yarn is single ply, which means that I had some trouble with splitting until I got used to it, but not at all once I was comfortable working with it.I’m so glad that I stuck with it. It’s a beautiful, soft yarn. I wish I had made a shawl or even a summer knitted T-shirt/ light sweater with it. I wanted to try fingerless gloves, and it worked well for that too. It takes a rib well—either 1x1 on the cuff or 2x2 on the fingers. That said, I don’t think it would stretch well for socks or hold up to foot abuse. But a summer shawl—I think I’m going to come back for more and try it.

It's meh.
Yarn is definitely close to lace weight. The weight is not consistent throughout, getting really thin at some points. I also don't think it is soft as the product description describes. I've had to frog my projects and the yarn gets knotted very easily and tears if you pull too taught.

Beautifully vibrant
I enjoyed working with this yarn! This project came out beautifully and will be purchasing more yarn in different colors to make more items. It is very soft and easy to work up, however it can become knotted if you need to undo or made mistake in stitch. Very important...hand wash only

Gorgeous colors, but laceweight don't kid yourself
I had to go down to size 1 needles (from 2.5 for sock yarn) and it's a bit of a finicky yarn getting a Turkish cast-on going, but I just finished the toe and the transitions between colors are gorgeous. It is merino + nylon and not cashmere as described but "lost in translation" may apply. It is from China. I would say they make excellent sock liners based on how thin the toe is. The docked star is for not advertising it as laceweight yarn. The advertising had me thinking sock yarn. I'll update after I finish the socks and wash them once and let you know. Those who never wash handknit items don't knit as much as I do. All my socks are hand knit. All of them go through the wash. If they dont' survive, there are children who need socks and they go to the rescue mission. I'll update whether these survive the first washing. But the joy of knitting with this yarn is defnitely a plus. The transitions for the dyes is enough to keep me happy through the first colorway at least.

Very Pretty
I'm very pleased with this yarn. The colors are even better than in the photo. Be aware that it is a very fine gauge yarn - I'm using it for a lace knit shawl pattern that can be made with CYC 0, 1 or 2 weight; lace, fingering or sport. It's very soft and I haven't (yet) encountered knots.

Unuseable
The most positive thing I can say is that the colors are beautiful. The problem is the skein is full of knots which cannot be untangled because it is so thin. If you try it breaks off. I ordered 2 I wish I could cancel the other because it is not a feee return product so I will just have to eat it. I hope mine is an isolated incident and others can use it

Not Colorfast
This yarn is not colorfast. I have streaks of dye on my finger and thumb.

Soft, beautiful, light weight
The yarn was such a pleasant surprise. I saw the multiple colors and figured that it would do the hard shift in colors like so many before. But the gradient is slow and beautiful. I'm working with it and I'm surprised to find that I've shifted into a new color without realizing it. It's pretty soft for wool. And it's really nice and lightweight. I'm making a summer cover dress out of it.
