Solid, reliable and brutally powerful
I purchase Ledlenser rechargeable head torch for my fishing trip on beach overnight. Before I purchased item did some research on YouTube, asked other anglers on forums etc, but nothing can prepare you for performance what you get. Before Ledlenser I used many cheap head torches and was thinking why I need pay more then 20 pounds if it's work. What a mistake. My first sesh with Ledlenser was absolutely amazing, I can't express how much my experience improved becouse that. It's like have big light with you in beach and maximum performance for ten seconds it's just breath taking. I can't imagine what I was doing before, just can't. Looking for something what you drop just in second when tide racing up is now like on daylight, before I lost lot of tackle becouse my cheap lamps didn't give that much light. Battery life is really something I don't use maximum power for whole sesh maybe half and sometime just boost maximum for couple second and when I come home still have like half of battery left. My normal season is between five, six hours. Brilliant. Torch is not really heavy, if you have wearing hat or something after couple minutes forgotten that you have ledlenser on top of your head. Material on touch looks like really good quality, I drop torch couple times from top of my car, accidently nothing wrong with it. Really you don't get something like this for your money. Update about warranty, it's working now and I have my 7 years warranty already, brilliant.

Excellent almost saved our lives:)
Originally purchased for work in the building trade - decided to go on a holiday and packed it with me just in case I needed it! A group of us decided to go cycling one day in the winter months, it was cold, raining but we were well dressed for the occasion. So eventually after a lot of off-road cycling in the woods we managed to cycle up a mountain but completely lost track of time... It started to get dark 3/4 the way up and it took us approx. 2.5 hours getting there, the temperature started to plummet and people in the group were starting to get worried... I had this light in my backpack and once turned on...wow!... the full area was lit and we all managed to find our way safely back to the hotel...the experience riding down was as though I was sitting in a car, the full area in front of me was lit, I could control the beam and brightness. At the beginning I was hesitating buying it because of the price but during the holiday released what an investment it was and now regularly pack it with me on trips, its resistant to water, can easily be cleaned...also comes with a 7 year warranty so well worth it.

A must have
Bought this for work (Gas Installer) . Went for the core as opposed to the work due to the price difference. The Core was very cheap at the time (around £105) .As far as I can see the work has a few accessories and has a higher drop threshold for damage. To be fair, I don't plan throwing it around and if you're not working at a great height I wouldn't worry.- snug fit- brightness is excellent- battery lasts a very long time- dust proof and water proofI have my head torch strapped to my head almost all of every day. I dare say the battery could easily see out the week. The battery is big but is surprisingly comfy to wear. How I went so long with battery heas torches for so long is beyond me. The electrician I work with is away to make his investment into the same torch.Brilliant - so far

Seems (very?) good, but some things not included.
Some initial thoughts- it's very (very) good/excellent in terms of brightness (certainly on full power). Has good focusing and dimming action. Battery life- haven't used for long enough to comment yet. Comfort- haven't worn for long enough to say yet. Build quality seems good/very good. However, there are some definite charging connectivity issues with it (5 hours from flat seems quite a long time, meaning that it really needs 'fast charging capability'- but it doesn't have this- well, i'm pretty sure it doesn't anyway). The magnetic charging connection seems effective, but, surprisingly, there was no wall charger included in the box which the other end (USB-A plug) could plug into (up to the same tricks as 'Apple'?). At this price, I'd expect a Ledlenser-branded wall charger to be included. There's no car charger either (even one to plug into a 12v socket), which means I have to unplug my dash cam (in a 2013 Octavia with only one usb-a socket- probably as it's not the newest design of octavia) to charge it (and my car usb socket won't charge it unless the engine's on/I'm moving- but then, of course I want to have my dash cam plugged-in if i'm driving). Ledlenser don't seem to sell spare magnetic-ended leads so I can't keep a spare lead in the car either. They do sell the mains wall charger seperately for another £15 (plus almost £5 postage)- but strangely, the lead that comes with this has a micro usb end (almost obsolete as a connection?) rather than a magnetic end (which my headtorch needs, because there's no micro usb socket on it). Ledlenser say that any mains wall charger can be used, but i'm not so sure this is a good idea (especially as some fast-charging chargers are quite high wattage now- even ones that use an older usb-a socket rather than usb-c socket at the charger end). A lens cover would also have been nice like the 'work' version has ( but also isn't available to buy seperately?) as i'm worried about scratching that big lense.
