It works at a very reasonable price
My Braeburn 3020 thermostat quit working so I went looking for one so I wouldn't have to change out the base, but alas, they apparently don't make that model any more and I was going to have to wait 3 or 4 days to get a Braeburn replacement 1h/1c thermostat for $44.00, so I opted to get this one on a next day delivery from Amazon. There are a few really great pluses to this thermostat over a Braeburn. In order to change the batteries in a Braeburn you have to remove the thermostat from the base to install the batteries. Not so with this one. It has a little door at the top front of the thermostat where you can access and change the batteries. I consider this a big plus as I put-off putting batteries in my thermostat for that reason. That may be the reason my old Braeburn quit as the batteries were corroded when I took the thermostat off of the wall. Another plus is that you can set the differential between current temp and set temp by 1/10th of a degree increments. Finally, this thermostat alternates between showing the current temperature and also the humidity. To me those are all positives over the more expensive Braeburn thermostat. Most importantly, it works. I am considering buying another one if or when it quits working.LATER: This was working fine on my Trane heat pump AC but it got a bit cool so I turned on the heat and all the ac did was blow out room temp air. I called a friend of mine and provided him with the picture of my connections and told him what it was doing. I also sent him the diagrams in the little booklet and the page that showed what the different positions were for. He told me that I needed to jump the Y and W. Apparently my old Braeburn does that internally. I did that, and now it heats like it is supposed to. I have attached a picture of the final hookup.

Great product but worried about support in the future.
We have been using this thermostat for over a month now. It works great! It has a nice big LCD display. The buttons work good. Easy to install. Just what I wanted. However, I am concerned about long term support. The Amazon page says the product has a 2 year warranty, but the company that makes it has no web site, no email address and no 800 phone number. The manual that came with it says to register it to get support, but gives no way to do that. The only way I am able to connect with the manufacturer is by clicking on "sold by Agaric Tech" link on the Amazon page. I asked them how do I contact them to register the product and if I have any support issues in the future. They said that the only way was thru this Amazon link! They assured me that I would get the 2 year warranty using this link.I suggest that anyone buying this product use this link to register the product with them and then keep this link address handy in case you need to contact them later.Otherwise very happy with the product!

excellent replacement'
I just hooked it up yesterday and it works flawlessly. I was not very happy with the instructions because they didn't explain where the batteries should go. started taking it apart and found that there is a hidden door above the crystal display that folds out and you place the batteries in there. That is actually a good selling point because my old one had to be removed from the wall and the batteries were inserted in the back.

just what I needed
This thermostat works very good has large numbers so you can see them. I guess the best thing that I like about it is two batteries are on the top of the unit. You just lift a little door on top take the batteries out and replace them without having to take the unit off the wall

No display.
No instructions to determine why the display was blank - returned material and got a better and cheaper unit from local store. Would not recommend because I got a better and cheaper unit that works well.

Works well
I purchased it for the adjustable temperature range. My old Honeywell had a set range of 3 degrees under set temperature to 3 degrees over so I was either too cold or too hot. The only defect is the temperature sensor is sometimes off by 3 degrees, but not always. This is still much better than the old one.
