Transponder Coil Didn't work out of the box.
Definitely would not recommend this product. I had several locksmiths try to program my new keys (which I had to buy separately and have cut because the key that comes with this unit is not a transponder key it's a plain old key with an empty casing around it) and no matter what the locksmiths tried, the car would not accept the programming. Finally after 3 locksmiths a friend of mine loaned me a HexV2 tool from Ross-Tech and when I read the immobilizer codes I found that the 01176 code with a sub code of 4 was present. Basically it means that the immobilizer is not getting a signal from the key. At first I thought this was an issue with the immobilizer since the lock cylinder and transponder ring (the black piece that comes with the cylinder) were brand new. After several days of troubleshooting I tested the brand new transponder coil and turns out it was completely dead. A broken connection inside it. I'll be ordering a new coil (not from this company) if I can (most places only sell it with the entire lock cylinder) and replace it so that hopefully it works.

Complete junk.
This thing is junk. It worked for about three minutes. Got it installed started the let it run for a bit, then started it few more times and thought "sweet we are good to go" then I go to try and start it again and then the tumbler housing started freely rotating inside the lock cylinder whenever you would try to start the car. And I'm unable to return it probably because in the process of trying to get it work I damaged it. Believe me I would like my money back. I would give zero stars but I can't. DO NOT BUY THIS PART, PERIOD, END OF STORY. Buy oem for this part.
