IF THE TERRO DOESNT WORK, TRY THIS! -- OR BOTH!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Terro works well, but it is somewhat inconsistent and I'm of the personal belief that ants are smarter than we give them credit for and somehow they relay to their colony to avoid it. This worked after ant scouts sniffed it out in a few hours and then I saw more ants appear when before these treatments I'd see the occasional scout or few ants. This does the same function as the Terro bait traps, however I've read up on Indoxacarb (the active ingredient used) and it seems to be a functionally similar chemical to borax. I believe the 'slow death' (sounds so cruel -- sorry ants haha) happens a bit slower so much more of the colony perishes Leakage:None, injector tube is well handled, with a cap included to seal the push injector, and the fluid isn't runny so as long as you have your prepped cardboard/surface to put it on, it isn't that difficult

It worked in one day.
I got my yard sodded this year, and along with the sod came these horrible ants. Others told me they were called "Crazy Ants." Crazy they drove ME as they took over my entire pool patio to the point where we couldn't even sit out there. Once I started seeing them in the house, i knew I had to get serious. I had an idea where they were nesting cause they'd freak out when I hosed off the patio, so one night I squirted this stuff in the cracks I saw the most activity from. Just like the enclosure says, you see more Ants at first cause they're all trying to get some of this goop, but after ONE day they were gone. I feel stupid for waiting so long and not having use of my patio all this time, but I have pets and am always concerned about any chemicals around them. I did it at night after everyone was in, and because it can be squirted deep down into the cracks w/the included tiny nozzle, I wasn't as concerned.

Worked Well. No damage to hardwood floors. Protect your pets.
Worked really well. It baited the tiny grease (aka thief) ants within 45 minutes of application. The next twelve hours when they come and feed en masse is gross but necessary. 24 hours later the whole (small) colony was dead.I taped a small paper "tent" over application sites to protect pet paws from stepping in it. My senior cats were smart enough (or lazy enough) to avoid the area. I left the bait for 48+ hours and found it did not damage my hardwood floors (although I mostly tried to apply this in the cracks between slats). It dries to a sticky, gummy, gel which made cleanup easy.Liked this better than competitor's spray which does damage floors and only kills on contact, not the whole ant town.

Ants going for the gel!
So far this Advion Ant gel is attracting the carpenter ants. Hopefully they will feed the queen and they will be gone soon.

I think it’s actually WORKING!?
I just got this in the mail and immediately opened it to put some out. I am CONSTANTLY cleaning my floors because of these darn ants! If there is so much as a crumb they are scattering all over the floor to get to it. So I said enough was enough and started researching. I didn’t want something that was just gunna kill them on contact. I wanted something that would kill the colony and I think I may have found it! It’s only been out about 25 minutes max and they’re already swarming it.I took the advice of others and put it RIGHT in their tracks on a piece of cardboard for easy clean up. Out of the 6 places I have set them 5 of them are being swarmed with ants. They must think this stuff is GOOD. I know the next couple of days it’s only supposed to get worse and then hopefully get better so I’ll come back with a final verdict!Update: We are now 2 1/2 days in and only 3 of the 6 traps are now being used. Not because the ants aren’t interested, nay nay… IT’S BECAUSE THEY AREN'T THERE! The ones on the inner parts of the house are completely empty. No trails, maybe a straggler or two but they were by the 100s before. (See pics 5-8) and now they’re empty! The last 3 are more by the door frames. And they’re still coming in pretty heavy but WAYYY less than before! I did move one over by my cats food bowl because they seem to be trying to migrate over there. So I cleaning his bowl, disinfected it, and set it up on the bar for now. I’ll come back with one more update but I honestly think it’s doing wonders!!!

Absolute best ant killer
Don't buy a substitute that lists the same active ingredient. I inadvertently bought this one, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BMNZBHG1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title, think it would be the same, but the ants wouldn't touch it.Advion is so easy to use and it kills ants fast. I get an infiltration in the kitchen every spring. An exterminator gave me Advion eight years ago and I used it every spring. The number of ants starts reducing within 24 hours, and they are all gone shortly after that, although I leave some out a few days for stragglers. Then I'm done till the next spring. This stuff must be highly toxic. And the needle-tip applicator lets safely me squirt it into crevices where my granddaughters can't reach it.The other really good thing is that I can order it one tube at a time to ensure freshness. A little bit goes a really long way, making it a good value for me.

Finally ant free!
We had an ant problem for over a year! I tried everything short of burning my house down! 😂 Ant bait, inside and outside! Ant killer around the entire house. Multiple types of gels and traps inside the house. Natural deterrence around all windows and doors. Even going into our crawl space and putting bait down there. (Didnt want to do professional exterminator because we have many pets) Nothing would get rid of them! A couple times I had success to get rid of them for a few days but they would come right back! I was at my wits end and found this...I took the chance to get it and I'm so glad I did! The ants swarmed the gel wherever I saw them, as soon as I put it down, so much that I had to add more the next day! Within 3 days there were no more ants! I did have 2 more areas in my house pop up with ants and put this gel down again and they were gone within a few days too! I haven't seen an ant in a few months now! I will be telling everyone I know about this bait gel from now on, if they have ant problems too!
