Steam iron
Please tell your product steam iron in advance that only filtered water should be used in it. Otherwise it will get damaged. My steam iron damage just because i’m using tap water.

Using it for the past 4 years
I've been using this iron for the past 4 years, and it's been an absolute game-changer! One of the best features is that it never burns any type of cloth. It automatically sets the temperature based on the fabric, which ensures that I never have to worry about adjusting it manually. This has saved me so much time and effort, and I can iron any material without fear of damaging it. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient iron.

Soleplate temperature is important. Very important. Don't let them fool you!
This iron works on the design premise that a higher volume of steam will compensate for a lower soleplate temperature, thus doing away with the need for manual temperature control, and eliminating accidental burns and damage to delicates. I was convinced. Seemed to work well for the first few days, or so I believed. That is, until co-workers start enquiring if I had forgotten to launder my clothes. The very next morning I was staring down at unsightly wrinkled poplin cotton shirts and wool/polyester blend trousers showing up in the angled dresser mirror lighting just 15 mins since they were ironed. May be, just may be, in the 3 weeks since first use the steam holes were clogged with salt deposits despite using bottled water? Tried running the decalc option couple of times to increase steam flow. No improvement! Disappointed I have now purchased a 2400W regular steam iron (again from Philips who I grudgingly gave my custom to as there were no alternatives in this power rating). Things are back to normal again, with wrinkle free poplins and oxfords, sharp creased pants, ladies swooning left right and center, birds singing, sun eternally shining etc. etc. In conclusion, if you are serious about crisp ironed clothes then please ditch this model, save your money and go with a regular but high wattage steam iron at 1/6th the price. They are much quicker too as you dont have to slow iron waiting for the steam to do its job, or require refilling the tank after ironing no more than 3 garments at a time.
