works perfectly and is definitely study enough to hold up the sprinkler

Very handy tool for new installations and complete replacements--much easier to line up than a standard bubble level, faster, and I suspect more accurate due to attaching to the shaft of the rotor rather than the non-flat top of the spray head. Does require a bit of gentle stretching to fit , but didn't break, and will probably get easier with time. Does not work with K-Rain Mini-Pro rotors. Will work with Toro stationary spray heads if you hold it in place against the riser, but will not snap on (still somewhat useful.)

It is a handy tool for installing a Rainbird 5000 sprinkler head or changing the orifice in an already installed head. I wish it would permit manual rotation of the head when setting the left hand and right hand stops. With that said, it is better than nothing and not too expensive.

I replaced all my old rotors last summer and had considered buying this but didn't. This year I'm playing around with different nozzles and decided to get it. So glad I did and now wished I had it last year when installing the new rotors. It fits the 52SA rotors perfectly and holds them up 3-4 inches. Couple that with the CPROTTOOL pull up tool and it made changing the nozzles alot easier.

For those with issues, you do have to line it up right and it works great.

The item keeps the sprinkler head up so you can change the volume of water that matches your water pressure in your house.

I like the concept of having something that will hold the sprinkler head up when I am changing nozzles. Unfortunately, this tool does not grip the head tight enough, and if you use any force while taking out the old nozzle, this lets go. You have to be extremely careful to avoid this. I noticed others with the same complaint.

Saves a lot of time trying to hold on to the sprinkler head and keep it extended while leveling.
