Great "Sweet Spot" Product for Non-Astronomers
There isn't much that I can add to what other reviewers have said, but I can affirm that my family found this to be a very pleasing and "decent value" purchase. Rather than rehashing a lot of what others already have mentioned, let me summarize my main thoughts:1. Evaluate it for what it is. This is not, and is not intended to be, a device that generates a realistic or accurate view of the night sky and the various constellations. It's something of a "novelty" item that projects an array of simulated "stars" as well as moving nebula-like images on the ceiling and walls of even a moderately large room.2. In its niche, it performs quite well. Since I planned to give it as a gift, I spent a fair amount of time researching, and found a group of astronomy buffs who gave it high marks (with the proviso that it's not scientifically accurate). But, in comparison to other similar products that advertise more heavily and widely in the marketplace, this one was rated considerably higher for the (relative) realism of its "star" display and the aesthetics of its "nebula" projections. In short, they tend to be brighter and more visually interesting, and the colors, speed of rotation, and such all are easily controlled from a smartphone via a free app.3. Personally, I'm agnostic on the value of this category of products (Now that I know that highly realistic -- albeit fairly expensive -- projection systems are out there, I might buy one someday). This product cost somewhat more than the other products in its category, but our experience aligns with what the ratings by the astronomy buffs said: This product produces better, more enjoyable, and more "personalize-able" results for not very much more money. The real clincher in my case? My 16-year-old daughter absolutely loves it. Contrary to the experience reported by some other reviewers, she was able to download the app and connect to the device via our Wi-Fi, without any help from me, and without our having temporarily to step down the frequency or our wireless router, and then to control the device. It just worked; perhaps technical improvements were made after some of those other reviews were posted. The bottom line for me is that my daughter is delighted with her gift, it has lived up to its billing so far, and (based on all the evidence available to me) it outperforms the competing products in its niche. So, scroll down through the search results, resist the temptation to click on the dark-colored competing devices, and give this one some serious consideration. In our case, at least, the end results were well worth the modest price premium.

Looks amazing and was easy to set up!
Originally, I was looking for a star projector that was very realistic, but the only one I could fine ( that was affordable) didn't have any nebulae, and was out of stock until late November. This one was very highly rated so I decided to try it. It looks great! The sleep timer is perfect, and it is very quiet. It's not silent, but it's very quiet, and the sound of it operating does not disturb me. I'm thinking these will make excellent Christmas gifts. I'm just using it as a blue tooth device controlled from my tablet. I love easy it is to adjust the colors and intensity too.

Good for what it is
Overall: I like the projector. It's very calming and still fun to look at after a couple weeks of using it pretty regularly. There are some things I wish were set up better, but after pretty extensive research into all of the other nebula/star projectors I could find, I didn't find any others that solved them.Pros:- Totally quiet- The app works really well and the timer function is handy. (Just make sure you use 2.4GHz wifi when you set it up, otherwise the app won't connect to the projector. I made that mistake.)- Colors are bright and vivid. I wouldn't read by it, but I can see clearly with only the projector on.- Stars aren't on a grid- Both the cloud and the stars rotate separately and I like the speed options.Cons:- The stars aren't random. There is a pretty noticeable repeating pattern that kind of bothers me. However, the only star projector I found that doesn't do that (and has cool shooting stars) is the projector that is actually a plastic star. However, that projector has a bunch of reviews that say the lasers die really quickly. So maybe it isn't possible at the moment.- The colors are more limited than you would expect from the advertising. However, once again, this is the same for all star projectors that I could find. They are simply different combinations of green, blue, and red. The color wheel in the app is misleading. There is no yellow. It just combines green and red and there is a slight yellowISH color right in the middle. Given that, you can create some pretty colors by combining them and it looks cool how they mix in the middle. I just wish if I selected purple then I had the option for the whole cloud would be purple.Miscellaneous:This can be a good or a bad thing depending on the room you want to use this in. I think it looks better at a distance. Higher ceilings or long rooms let the image really expand so you can appreciate the details and the stars aren't super close together. I use it in my bedroom which is maybe 12 ft wide, 14 ft long, and like 8 ft high. I don't want to place a projector in the center of my bedroom so I can't use the ball-shaped projectors, but unfortunately this projector stretches the image on the far walls and stays condensed on the near walls. So the stars/cloud get partially squished. I think it really looks best if it's pointed straight at a wall/ceiling in a smaller room. However, that is probably just the reality of using a projector.

Exactly What I Wanted
I was worried about getting this projector, even though I watched multiple YouTube videos and talked to people personally. The package arrived WAY sooner than expected and was in quality condition. The unit itself is much smaller than I thought, but its super bright. It takes some time to get it positioned just right in the room, but I'm honestly so happy with it. I was able to link it to my Google home so I can turn it on and off without the app. I also only use the projector at 50-60% because it's so bright. I'm really happy with my purchase.

Bought 2 and one works great the other not so much!
I bought 2 projectors for grandchildren over Christmas and the projectors are really impressive. The kids loved them because of the bright colors and movement of the lights. Well one of the projectors started having issues connecting to the Smart Life app that controls the projector. Constantly my Son has to disconnect the projector from the app and reload the projector. One projector works great and the other one started having trouble staying connected after a couple weeks of use. I sent information to the seller to let them know what is going on, because Amazon will not let me return the item. Seems like a great product if you have no connection issues.
