Seemed comfortable and didn’t cover too much
The size was pretty good, got a medium for my girl (12.5 lbs) and a large for my boy (15-16 lbs). It seems pretty secure, neither of my cats have been able to escape from them. The colors are great, they look so cute and stand out. I do think the value for money is pretty good as both my cats are a bit on the older side (2.5 yrs as opposed to kittens) and this is the first time I’ve tried to harness train them so I expected them to take much longer to get used to them, but after only a week they stopped fidgeting so much in them and started playing in them much more! I want to say thats because the harness seems pretty comfortable so they realized it’s really not that bad. While trying to harness train them, they’ve only worn them for a couple minutes each day inside before I take them off to slowly get them acclimated and it’s going well. Haven’t taken them outside yet but it’s much too cold here for now anyways.

Good quality
Easy to adjust and looks so cute. Cat is walking around easily in it. Velcro on the body vest is strong.

Does sorta work, but sizing is hard to get pinned down and isn't a true martingale?
The media could not be loaded. This does seem like an overall wellbuilt harness. However, during a stressful situation our cat was able to completely slip the harness and ran off (she was found later that night up a tree and greatfully came down to go home). I don't feel that the martingale feature truely works on this harness???? Like all of the parts that SHOULD tighten are instead tacked down with stitching and the buckle component which I guess is supposed to work as the tightening point..... just floats.... it has no mechanism to work against so.... it doesn't really grip, or grab tighter between the shoulders as I feel I understood the martingale concept. She backed right out of it with a few kicks in her panicked state.... 😕Our cat loves the hikes, so we're still gonna hunt for the best harness for her.

Giovanni approved!
I love this brand! I always feel my cat is secure in them if they are sized correctly. This is my third one for my cat, Giovanni, as he’s grown.

Cat was out of this as soon as he tried
I purchased two different brands and types of cat harnesses at the same time, to see which one I would like best. This one kept popping up and had good reviews. The other brand did as well, but was half the price. I measured my cats carefully before purchasing. They are both larger cats, 15 to 16 pounds, and both have a chest of about 17 inches. I bought the appropriate size based on the chart. I adjusted it when I put it on my cat, maybe even a little too snug because I was concerned. My one cat has a history of being leash trained. He actually stood there pretty calmly while I put it on because he knew what it meant. He’s been wanting to go outside for the longest time. We headed out, sniffed around for about 15 minutes. He got acclimated to the backyard. Decided to get the zoomies and teared across the yard. I have a retractable leash, he ran so hard and fast that he yanked my arm and the leash out of my hand. The leash was tangled on patio furniture so it was easy to get the leash. He decided he did not want to be caught. I did not see him get out, but I felt it in the leash as I was untangling it. My guess is he just turned around and pulled himself out. In any case, when he decided he wanted no more of this, it took him about two seconds to get out, at which point I had a heart attack and called for my husband to come help wrangle him. Thankfully, he’s sort of a scaredy-cat so it wasn’t too hard to herd him to the back door. The harness is well constructed, with soft padding. I believe that the padding and the soft/slippery fabric helped him to escape. Unfortunately, I think I’m going to have to go with just a nylon harness with no padding, extra tight so he cannot escape. or maybe, he’ll just remain indoors and on the catio, and spend his days begging to go out. Pictures from our only adventure to show that I did have it adjusted and had it on fairly snuggly. I would not say it’s a poorly constructed harness, but it’s definitely not for me. Had I been in the front yard when this happened, he would probably be gone. Basically, it scared the heck out of me. This cat has no outdoor skills as much as he would like to think that he does. As soon as my heart rate goes back to normal, I’m returning this harness and leash.

Confortable and Secure
This is the third harness I have used with my cat and it is by far the best. The shape and material make it comfortable for him. The harness shape, the closure being on top, the routing and adjustability of the straps, and the leash attaching to both sides of the harness make it very secure. The previous harness from a different manufacturer fit tightly, but he could still wriggle out of it when he was persistent. I've taken him for six 30 min walks so far, and he is perfectly fine wearing it. He got spooked a couple times and tried to run up a driveway, and he spun around and around trying to get out of the harness but it stayed in place. Great product!

Learning to love it!
I wasn’t sure I liked this harness when I first put it on my cat, but after fiddling around with it and getting her used to wearing it, I’ve come to really like it! Let me say this now: the straps on the shoulders MUST BE TIGHTENED for this thing to fit properly. That might sound like a no brainer, but they weren’t tightening right when I first tried so I gave up. After messing with them even more, I’ve been able to make the harness fit much better. I bought a small and while I think my 7lb adult girlie could have made due with the X-small, I think the straps have her pretty secured. The first two pictures have the straps not properly tightened and you can see how loose they hang. The last two pictures she is properly fitted and she seems to feel more comfortable. Less of the harness wearing her and more her wearing the harness. She did get spooked at one point and didn’t slip out, but I still don’t trust that it’s 100% inescapable. So far so good!
