Great for streamers and creatives
I have stood by my Loupedeck since I got it a little over a year ago. It works incredibly with both Mac and Windows and although I originally purchased it for streaming which I don’t really do anymore, I have found it to be a great companion for creative workflows. The dials feel incredible and having 6 of them is really nice for managing audios or color grading. This thing just has so many buttons for the price compared to the competitors and is super fast and reliable. A few things to keep in mind:1. The screen buttons don’t actually press, they’re just touchscreen. I actually prefer this as I find it’s a lot easier to actually press them. The lower buttons and the dials do properly click though.2. The stand isn’t adjustable. I ended up replacing it with one of those really cheap tent-style phone stands just to be able to adjust the angle but the stand it comes with is still sturdy enough for use.3. While the setup is easy, it does take a LONG time if you’re really looking to customize. The software is incredible and has a ton of profiles and integrations built in. However, any of these just take some time to setup fully. You can even make it run windows batch files though so the possibilities are really endless.I did end up vinyl wrapping mine as it didn’t come in white and I COVERED it in stickers just since that fits my aesthetic but the device itself looks incredible on its own. The main body is actually metal instead of plastic. I did also include a picture on my cutting mat I took for making the vinyl but it shows the size well. Overall, I love this thing!

As of April 2021, setting up this product takes a lot of work.
I saw this product and chose it over the StreamDeck because I wanted the dials and round buttons on the bottom. The dials work like dials, but no matter what page/workspace the screen buttons show, the buttons on the bottom never change. That's exactly what I wanted. As far as how it works, it works fine. I had a little trouble with it at first, but restarting my PC (which fixes a lot of issues on any system) fixed some mildly glitchy behavior. It looks and behaves just as expected; I push buttons, and things happen. But what I wasn't expecting was the amount of effort setting up the pages takes. As a former StreamDeck user (through their Mobile App which is a much cheaper way to get started than buying the actual device), I was accustomed to being able to copy/paste buttons I wanted to move from one workspace to another. With LoupeDeck, there are currently no copy/paste features.Another thing is that it's pretty new/not popular. I assume this, without research, because searching Google for information is remarkably useless.I wanted to use LoupeDeck to write text to a file like I did with StreamDeck. On StreamDeck, I used Google to find a plugin that writes text directly to a file. On LoupeDeck, I used Google to no avail on how to get LoupeDeck to do similar, then used Google to learn how to write text with a Batch file, and then used LoupeDeck to launch the Batch file. Same results, but drastically different amounts of effort. Especially since I need a new Batch file for every piece of text I want to write.I was also unable to find any way to add plugins to LoupeDeck to increase its functionality.I've had several questions about LoupeDeck and its abilities, but searching for answers has been largely unhelpful, and so I leave this parting statement; If you're already used to StreamDeck's flexibility and you choose to switch to LoupeDeck like I did, there will be some learning to do, and you might not be able to do everything you wanted.
