Works great, and easy to install/setup
Bought for my son. Took him about an hour total to build and configure. Works like a charm!

Good kit
Best have your ninja wire-stuffing skills honed. Very nice kit, and working for me

So close to Perfect - one more hole would do it!
This kit is fantastic! It was super easy to assemble, taking only a little bit of finesse to get the antenna wiring to lay nicely. One recommendation would be a kit upgrade to allow for an Ethernet cable to be attached. The port is on the Raspberry Pi, but not accessible through the case. I melted another hole in mine underneath the 978 antenna and fed an Ethernet extension cable through. Turned out well enough that I recommend that modification for anyone looking to hardwire the unit to their network.

Reception is garbage, to the point of being dangerous.
Bought it so I didn't have to keep moving my GDL52 between my airplanes. At home on the desk, I noticed it had about 1/10th of the range of my FlightAware receiver, even when using the same antennas. Tried to take it test flying, and traffic would only appear once they were on top of me, even with it sitting on the glareshield of a fabric covered airplane. At one point, I was close enough to my friend to read his tail number, and it still didn't pick him up for more than a second. Additionally, despite flying at 4000' less than 20 miles away from 3 seperate ADS-B ground stations, it never once received a single FIS-B packet. Conversely, my GDL52 will even receive FIS-B when sitting in my hangar if I have the door open.I did all the basic troubleshooting, including matching the SDR serial numbers to their frequencies in the terminal, checking the antenna connections, and trying different antennas. Any more technical troubleshooting is impossible even for the engineering-minded individual because the developer has chosen not to properly document nearly anything. The only time this thing will receive any traffic is once they are already close enough to pose a collision hazard. Plus with the cost of Raspberry Pi's nowadays, you can buy a competently-designed commercial solution for just a few bucks more. Don't waste your time, use your Pi for a different project.

Seems to work, except for UAT
Everything needed to assemble a stratux (minutes the pi board) but the UAT SDR does not seem to work. Haven’t been able to get any signals even flying above towers.

Works well, challenging to assemble.
Kit was complete and the finished unit works great. Assembly process is not trivial, online instructions and videos are helpful. Connecting the tiny coaxial connectors for the GPS pigtail and one of the SDR pigtails was tough for my clumsy fingers. However once it was all together it worked the first try. I use it in flight with Avare running on an old Samsung tablet and it’s proving to be a low cost and effective setup.I recommend the kit only for those very comfortable assembling electronics. Otherwise spend the extra money and buy the completed unit from Crewdog.

I got what i paid for. It is a great less expensive alternative. I have had no problems yet.
The only dislike so far is if you are not careful when you screw on the antennas it will loosen the studs. Maby some locktite on the outer nuts. Other than that it assembled exacty as it was told and worked with minamal easy configure and setup. Its a good buy.

Came with small instead of large antennas.
Fast delivery, everything as expected besides the antennas. I was expecting the 5db like in the picture, got the smaller ones instead.
