I bought this to upgrade my new laptop.Spent a bit of time researching drives and this one came up above all the others, when looking at speed, price, size, and reliability.It is always difficult to look at specs for these because only experience using it can give you a real feel for it. So you need to rely on manufacturer's info and reviews.Using it now for two months and it works great. Fitted right in on my HP elitebook laptop, but for sure it will be compatible with others. Quite fast, and as far as I can see runs really cool even when I'm running simulations on Matlab.It double my storage which is perfect for me at the moment.In my opinion this is excellent value for money and I would recommend it, if you are upgrading your machine or getting a gaming machine built.

Bought this ssd a while back as needed something as a backup drive, have to say this thing is rapid. Blink and you'll miss the window actually load your data. Used mostly as storage for games, professional film and photo for my business and has never skipped a beat.Snap these up on prime day or when theyre on sale for an especially good deal.They're a quality drive with good build quality, great storage options, pretty universal fit and compatibility, and overall a great buy in terms of value for money.Its this or Samsungs own for me, nothing else!

My PS5 built in SSD filled up a while ago and so with a few Christmas games purchases on the horizon I decided to expand my PS5 storage. Sony specifies the dimensions of the M.2 and more importantly the speed the drives need to be to be compatible with the PS5, needing to reach speeds in excess of 5500MB/s. This drive claims 7000, although when installed the PS5 said I was getting 6700MB/s - close enough. Installation was a breeze, but remember you do need a heatsink which I purchased separately. All my games transferred without a hitch and the new drive is performing flawlessly. Recommended for those who need super fast storage - works great with the PS5 - and the 1TB seems to be a sweet spot for value for money.

Picked this up to go with QIVYNSRY M2 heatsink nvme 2280. I managed to pick up cheaper without a heat sink and who knows when heat sink version will be in stock. Im not into modding, or technical stuff, but it was pretty simple to attach the heatsink. The sizing of this particular heatsink is a tiny bit off - a little too big, so you need to make sure you position the surplus to the screw in end, so you’re not covering up the connection point. One minor thing to note for anyone installing - when you plug the SSD into the ps5, it sits at an angle. You need to remove the little nut screw from the ps5 and sit the SsD on it before screwing. It’ll make sense when you do it, just saying not to panic. Oh yeah, everything fit, closed, and seems to be working fine, so no issues here. You won’t regret having the extra space on your ps5. This drive is seamless.

This is the perfect companion for any pc. Don’t matter if you’re a big user or casual user. An fast ssd is always the best purchase you can make for your computer.This one is super easy to install and even better to use. My computer has been flying since I installed it. Took me 2 minutes to go it.The start up speed my computer has now is nothing compared to before and that’s not even mentioning that increase in speed on normal use.Really buy it and you won’t regret it. Promise.

1tb. Did some reading up and this SSD was mentioned as the preferred developer one. Working well. Did have concerns on heat dissipation so bought this without the heat sink which made it quite a bit cheaper and bought the Sabrent heatsink designed specifically for the PS5 as it radiates the heat away to the PS5 fan air flow.. A nice combination, fit well together and performing well, no heat issues and high performance.

I got one of these with a view to expanding my PS5 storage and will most likely get another for my PC build. The speeds are as advertised and functions well. I would like to advise people to maybe watch a few tutorials and not to apply much pressure when installing this in a PS5 however as although this may not be relevant to the actual SSD the small screw in the PS5 is Extremely easy to strip. If this happens you will have a frustrating time removing the screw and replacing it etc. Aside from this issue everything is pretty quick and simple to get running with this drive.

Superb performance when paired with a heatsink. Gets a little hot but operates within temperate guidelines WD has set therefore no issues when under heavy load.A little note not related to the product but with Amazon - my first order arrived with an empty box and no SSD, being directly sold by Amazon. I suspect there's warehouse theft ongoing with items like these. I reported the case to amazon and they swiftly resolved it. I tried again with a second order and this time I went with a third party which was fulfilled by Amazon and I had no problems - the box was sealed and everything was there. Be aware of this when ordering.
