5 stars Single file created for each input and zoom meeting comp.
I normally don’t write too many reviews, but for this product, it deserves a great review. Has phantom power I could transfer the audio live to my laptop and use it in Zoom. I can pick up the six mic. The screen showing levels is also a touchscreen to change settings. She was really good levels read out. Just make sure you don’t peeking your audio coming in from like if u r using another audio mixer and You should be good to go.

Awesome for podcasts.
Awesome for podcasting, you can regain one mic input by buying a TRRS cable and a splitter to a USB sound card. The only flaw in this is they did not put the USB input selection on the bluetooth/phone input. but It's easy to re gain it with about $20 in cables. Now I can bring in a zoom call while having all 6 mics in use in the studio.

Decent
This works well for an amateur podcast, but there are so many places where shortcuts were taken.... for example:1 - If used an an audio interface, you only get 2 in/2 out, meaning you can't have each mic brought in as a separate channel, so if you wanted to use this with some kind of video auto switching software, it's not going to work for more than 2 mics.2 - Zoom could have AT LEAST included a usb-c cable, a high quality, high rate cable would have been preferred, but any cable would have been an improvement over none at all.3 - The XLR inputs could have been mounted on the top/side of the unit and created something with a smaller footprint, and something that wouldn't eventually wear out your cables. Same for the headphone outputs, which strangely enough, are 1/8" jacks instead of the standard 1/4" you would see on most other mixers.4 - A USB port in addition to an SD card slot would have been nice to have. Why only SD? USB drives are so much more common and can be had in MUCH larger capacities.5 - Bluetooth isn't built into the unit, instead, a separate adapter needs to be purchased. They could have charged a bit more and had the bluetooth built in so that you wouldn't have another piece to carry or misplace.Overall, I feel like there could have been a few small improvements made which would have made the unit MUCH easier to use and not feel so "budget."

Zoom PodTrak P8 - The Ultimate Game-Changer for Podcast Production!
The Zoom PodTrak P8 has revolutionized my podcast production process. It's a feature-packed podcast recorder that blends superb audio quality, intuitive design, and portability into a device that is accessible for both beginners and seasoned professionals. The first thing that stands out is the sheer audio quality this recorder delivers. With six microphone inputs, it allows for clear and high-quality recording of multiple voices simultaneously. The preamps are incredibly clean, and the noise floor is impressively low, ensuring that your recordings are crisp and free from unwanted noise. The six headphone outputs are another noteworthy feature. This allows each guest to monitor their audio levels comfortably, which is especially useful during a multi-guest podcast recording. The individual volume controls are a thoughtful touch, allowing for a personalized listening experience for each participant. One of my favorite features is the color touchscreen interface. It's clear, responsive, and simplifies navigating the P8's myriad of options. This feature, coupled with the dedicated controls for each channel, makes the operation of this recorder remarkably intuitive, even for those new to podcasting. The unit's portability is another key advantage. Its compact size and the option to power it with AA batteries make the PodTrak P8 an excellent choice for on-the-go podcasters who often record outside of a traditional studio setting. Moreover, the build quality is solid, and the overall design is sleek and modern. It feels robust and durable enough to withstand the rigors of regular use. Also, the integrated sound pads for music or sound effects are a fantastic addition that can truly elevate your podcast's production quality.Given its professional-level features, robust build, and ease-of-use, the PodTrak P8 offers excellent value for money. Whether you're a seasoned podcaster or just starting, this device will undoubtedly enhance your production process and the overall quality of your podcasts.

Fantastic Pro Audio Board!!
I am a professional, sound engineer, filmmaker, content creator, podcaster and media consultant. This board is fantastic!I recently purchased and used it in the field on a video shoot and it paired seamlessly with my laptop and Zoom F3 field Recorder. As anyone will tell you redundancy in the field is important and being able to record directly to the SD card on the board is a great feature, but that’s not all, the board will record to the SD card a separate track for each channel (unaffected by the sliders) in addition to a mixdown, this is a great feature as I could record with a boom mic and lav mic simultaneously, send my main feed to the Zoom F3 and pc and leave the back up feed recording on the SD card.A few limitations on the board are that the interface and screen are more along the lines of a prosumer feel and it takes a little while to get used to adjust the gain of each channel, the compressor and deesser are also put together on one fader and the SD card only records in 44.1k so you have to convert your sample type to 48k for video in post - but if you are just using the SD card for back up like I am and recording directly into an F3 and PC this really isn’t much of a concern.
