We’ve gone through two of these in the last 3-4 years. They hold up really well, just had an incident where we dropped one. We use it everyday! I’ve recommended this to many people. We hand wash the glass container because it feels slightly fragile but the lid we put through the dishwasher

I drink hot tea EVERY day- even in 100° weather. I use a lot of tea bags because using the “spoon” thing makes a mess no mater what I do. But I love all my loose tea! I even buy- Amazon-empty tea bags. But this is now my #1 way to drink my loose tea (I also make tea out of Basil leaves). 🫖❤️

A coffeehouse near me uses these for their tea, and I always loved the simplicity and functionality of them, so I had to order one! They are a tad pricey, but so worth it! Just throw in tea and water, and you’re good to go. I will add hot water to seep multiple times. Cleans well in dishwasher and the top can be taken apart for cleaning. Makes drinking tea super easy!

Love this tea pot

I make tea every day and to me this is one of the better products to make tea in. Tea makers that contain infusers limit the amount of circulation of the hot water through the tea leaves. The tea leaves in this device set on the bottom and the circulation through the tea leaves is unhampered. This tea maker uses a glass that is very resistant to thermal variances and keeps the tea free of tastes that can get embedded in plastics. The strainer is stainless steel and takes out all but tiny tea leaves. My only complaint is Rishi does not sell the 600ml size on Amazon.

The strainer has an extremely offensive metallic smell that imparts a strong metallic flavor to anything that comes in contact with it. I have tried cleaning the strainer with soap, a vinegar solution, a baking soda solution, washing it in the dishwasher, letting it soak in hot/boiling water and nothing makes the smell and metallic flavor imparting properties go away. Food-safe stainless steel should be odorless and this is certainly not odorless, so I question it's food safety.As some other reviews have stated, the lid is very secure to the point of being difficult to get off. The secure fit of the lid isn't a big deal on its own but it does produce a horribly unpleasent, spine tingling, metal-on-glass scratching noise whenever the lid is removed.It's truly a shame because I really wanted to like this brewer. It has so much going for it for an avid tea drinker. But a tea brewer that ruins the tea with an overwhelming metallic flavor is unacceptable.

Works well but is not as durable as described. First product arrived broken in the mail and the seller gladly replaced the item. The second one broke after being dropped once, which is not the seller’s fault but is a reflection of it not being super durable. Overall it was okay and I would purchase again if I didn’t have an evil cat!

I love this tea & tisane glass carafe. The shape takes up less room if you want to store cold beverages in the fridge. It strains out loose tea very well. If you drink a lot of tea this is an excellent addition to your preparation. Highly recommend!
