Graphology - The Art Of Handwriting Analysis (Speed Learning) Paperback – September 27, 2012

I haven't had this much fun reading a book in a long time. It was completely engaging, fun, unique, and really brilliant. Handwriting Analysis is a very complex topic of study, and it would take year of study and volumes of material to become proficient in this art. However Mr. Moore's simple and unique method took a select few of the basic (very very very basic) theories, and created a short fun system.His system allows a complete novice to look at a couple words and a signature, and give entertaining insight. Most professional handwriting analysts won't do signature analyses in isolation because it is thought that it does not give a balanced impression of the psyche. In other words it does not take into consideration conflicting psychological traits etc. However, this short and incredibly creative system offers the average layperson a nice taste of the concept of Handwriting analysis.I admire Mr. Moore and other creative individuals who are able to take very basic ideas, simplify them even further, make them completely unique, and produce something so creative and different out of something that was previously run of the mill. It takes a creative mind, and finesse to do that well, and IMO, this little book is an example of how one person can take a small concept and make it seem completely new. This book would be great for anyone planning a dinner party, or any other type of social gathering. It is a completely fun, memorable and unique way to engage a group of people.**** The answers to the quizzes in this book currently are not correct for many of the exercises. This was apparently due to formatting errors in the kindle conversion process. Despite this, The content of the book itself is worth the read. I hope the author is able to make the necessary corrections to the quiz answers. This was the only disappointing point about the book. Without the correct quiz answers a novice would not have the advantage of feedback on their understanding of the theories. For this reason only, I rate the book itself 4*'s, but the Graphology Tick sheet by this author I rate a 5! If it is not available on Amazon, you can find it on the author's website. Julian Moore just keeps providing! After reading "The James Bond Cold Reading" and "Palmistry: Palm Reading in your own words" I was expecting a well structured, organized book laying out the basics of Graphology as well as perhaps some hints for the more familiar reader. I was not let down.In "Graphology: The Art of Handwriting Analysis" Julian does just what he does best... teach all the secrets of Graphology (or analyzing handwriting) to a noob. Me. After reading I feel comfortable discussing the distinctions between the most commonly focused on letters in the Graphological world. While I wouldn't claim to be an expert like Julian, after a quick reading and I was feeling confident enough to try it on some friends after a night of laughing.If you are interested learning more about Graphology then this is the book for you!

For someone curious about the craft, Graphology - The Art of Handwriting Analysis (speed learning) is a booklet that can spur one's curiosity about the deeper meaning of strokes and writing.However, if you were like me and were looking for a more comprehensive manual on how to identify individual characteristics or patterns beyond (is this person extrovert/introvert,Even tempered/emotional, etc) than this read will fall short. Just as the name implies, its a speed learning, so you get what you pay for. That was my fault. Its a quick read however, as there's less than 100 pages to flip back and forth through, which is more than enough time to go back and review topics and search for those topics further on the internet. I wish the topics were a little more clear on what exactly correlates the stroke pattern with the emotion or the read of the person, but this read has a lot to cover in a short amount of time. My copy's cover page came laminated, which was nice as well.

I did like the quick recaps at the end of the chapters. I liked the exercises to test recall though I often "cheated" and just looked at the answers when I got overwhelmed looking at all the samples. What I didn't especially care for was that they all started to look alike after a couple of chapters. Tying it up with examples of real life analysis and reasoning was a great way to pull it all together.

I love this book! It's a gread add-on to my course on graphology, which consists of reading several books about the subject. Every book is helpful, but this one really broke it down into something simple to remember and use over and over again. In fact, I have found myself referencing it several times and learning more each time. If you want to learn about graphology and want to learn a lot in a short amount of time, this is definitely the book to pick up. Add it to your library and have more fun with your family and friends!

Handwriting analysis, or graphology, can be a difficult field of study. There are many nuances and rules to memorize if you want to give a decent interpretation of someones' handwriting. This book knocks the top off the learning curve! It gives a logical, creative approach to handwriting analysis based on two words. Those words provide clear examples from graphology of personality traits. The book reads easily and is a great tutorial. This will provide an excellent foundation for further study or even enough to give powerful readings/analysis on its own.

I think I expected more from this book. I wanted to sit down and read some handwriting and know more than this book taught.

I especially love the graphology book, the PDF download makes this a very fun and surprisingly accurate method for getting to know someone in MINUTES. I have yet to delve in to the numerology book and the cartomancy book but will soon!Julian makes these VERY easy to learn! Enjoy!
