You need this
If you own a Ryobi strimmer, and want to cut anything thicker than grass, then you need this. I found out the hard way while trying to cut Virginia Creeper with the standard strimmer plastic twine. The cord got wrapped around the creeper vine and the cartridge destroyed itself in the process. IMO the Ryobi blade head system should be included with every strimmer.

Battery powered strimmer
Works well but a much bigger drain on battery life

Easy to fit
These blades, although plastic worked well cutting through over grown areas that included nettles and young brambles. Even the odd sapling. They came well packaged with spare blades too. It was simple to swap the units on the strimmer.I would recommend these for lightish clearing. I have not given them too much of a hard time. Just yet.

Perfect Addition to the Ryobi Family
After reading other reviews and watching some YouTube videos I decided to get the RAC155 to compliment my strimmer for thicker jobs - and I am glad that I did.Like many, I have access to a petrol strimmer that can have a brush cutter blade attached in favour of the string line. It's a good brand (Hyundai, it's powerful, nothing phases it too much. The problem with it is the weight for prolonged jobs, the noise and the heat produced from the engine make it unpleasant to use.You can't really use a petrol strimmer easily for fine, trimming jobs and edging. You need a light weight unit for that, but then you can't ideally use that lightweight strimmer for heavier duty jobs which is where these blades come in perfectly to fill the gap.I bought these blades to work on a thick overgrown bank which a beech hedge sits on. The bank are become overgrown not been cut this season so was thick with various grass types as well as brambles, moss and dead grass. The Ryobi strimmer would not of coped just using the string line therefore I purchase the blades and it worked a dream. I lost one serrated blade when I hit a tree branch hidden under the grass which snapped at the connection point. I also lost another blade that didn't snap, I was able to put back on againI was able to complete two sides of the bank with two aftermarket batteries, but how do I have been using a Ryobi battery or one of their high-performance batteries? I suspect it would've done both on a single charge a five amp hour or above.Highly recommend for anybody who has a compatible machine that doesn't want to buy an additional Ryobi brush cutter. This provides much better value for money and flexibility.

Not the best
Easy to install and well made but it's listed as heavy duty and I don't think that's true . If the blade catches anything tougher than grass or daisy's the blade shatters .

Better than line.
Didn’t last as long as I had hoped but cut the tougher weeds down well.Need to buy a supply of blades as it only came with a few sets.
