Rice Pilaf in a box, I'm a gourmet!
Good stuff! Amazon sells other brands too, I have tried one other and loved it (Near East), and I love this brand too! Usually I will add a half-cup of Basmati rice and another cup of water to the mix so I get more, and the flavor's still great and only a bit different. Since the price is right it's just as easy to buy it from Amazon. And the preparation is practically fool-proof, even I can do it...

My boyfriend and I both enjoyed rice pilaf growing up....so I went ahead with the bulk 12 pack. We have 6 kids and 4 had never had it and even my daughter that does not like rice had seconds.

Price Has Doubled
Love this rice pilaf & buying by the box of 12 but this price is not a deal anymore. So disappointed.

Good overall, base
Good flavor as is, nothing spectacular. Never hurts to add an ingredient or two, such as baked almond slivers.

I bought this brand and flavor from Amazon because my local stores don't seem to carry the rice pilaf anymore, but they do carry the jambalaya, dirty rice, and other flavors. IDK why, but there it is. I love Zatarains rice and have for many years.
