Perfect fit. Works like new

This was the exact coupling that I needed. They last a long time as long as you don't get rough with the tool. Gentle usage and it will last. I have had mine for many years.

I thought my ancient Dremel had finally bit the dust when the bit stopped rotating. I took it apart to see how it works and see if maybe I could find a way to fix it. I discovered that the motor drive shaft is connected to the working bit shaft with this short flexible-plastic coupler. Over the years the old couple had hardened and completely disintegrated. I figured there's no way they still make a coupler for such an old Dremel which is AT LEAST 30 years old. Go figure, they do! Took all of 5 minutes to place it and reassemble the Dremel and it runs like new. A very happy Dremel owner. If I ever have to buy another rotary tool, I will definitely buy another Dremel product. It seems unlikely, however, that my current one will ever die.
