A Good Sounding Cassette Player
Very pleased with this Cassette player, although the first one I orderedran a bit slow. So the second one I received was a lot better. I bought it forthe purpose of creating my own home made Tape Deck. I disconnected thesound from the player and wired it to a much more powerful 10 watt speakergiving it a great sound. So now I can enjoy listening to my large collectionof cassettes. A few pictures attached of the finished model.

Very disappointed with this product. The recorded sound is very poor.
The sound quality is very poor, there is a background buzzing sound when tapes are played back. It is easy to use and comes with a small microphone - maybe the microphone is the poor product. It should not have passed quality control - IF it was tested before selling to customers.

This product is good for casual listening or for basic voice dictation. That’s all.
This product is very basic and easy to use. It also comes with easy to read instructions and it comes with a European three pin plug which is easy to install onto the transformer. However, The recorder itself does feel very plastic, cheap and lightweight. The one touch record facility on the cassette department is not very good because when pressing the record button itself it will not stay down, therefore you have to press the play button as well to lock them both firmly in place to stay down. When fast forwarding or rewinding a cassette, the auto stop function will not activate except whenever you are playing a cassette and it reaches the end it will then automatically shut off. The external microphone which came with it is okay but again feels very cheap and plastic. When recording from cassette to USB it does a good job but the letdown is that it will only record using mono because the heads are not stereo. Yes you will hear music still in both speakers but the instruments will not be spread out like it should be, in otherwords you hear everything in the centre. When recording from the built-in microphone you do hear a lot of built-in motor noise but it is okay for voice dictation for the price. When recording onto a USB stick from the built-in or external microphone, there is quite a bit of interference which is rather annoying although again for dictation purposes such as making a voice note of something I guess it is okay. I have not tried this with batteries though so could be a mains issue. The playback from listening to cassettes is reasonable enough and does not have much wow or flutter issues. To sum up this review, I have found the USB recording a bit of a letdown. I think for the price this product should at least have been equipped with a stereo playhead. I would recommend you either connect a good quality cassette deck to your PC or get a more expensive USB cassette deck equipped with stereo head. I will not be sending this back though as I am happy enough to use this thing for casual listening. should anything happen to this one though I would not buy another.

Poor Quality
For the money I expected more. Poor recording quality and poor playback. My 50 year old Phillips Cassette recorder out performs this.
