Okay so I have no photos because i’m irresponsible BUT i originally bought this mid/late december and it works SOO good. I’ve been chewing my nails for 18+ years and my nails are just nubs so I have tried so many things to help and I found this bad boy. The taste is bitter (I make a sour face) and will definitely linger on your lips so it’s a sort of punishment that stops you from even chewing your skin around your nails. It gets on finger foods sometimes but it’s so worth it!! Because I couldn’t bite to thin them and the polish itself help aid in thicker nails! Unfortunately I left the polish in a different state as I moved and December and was riding on glue on nails. I recently found myself with no glue on nails and completely destroyed my progress (I chew of habit to the point my nails bleed) so I’m pretty excited to have purchased this again and restart my nail journey. It’s SO WORTH IT.Also ps if you get it on your lips I just get my toothbrush and paste and just scrub my lips raw and it goes away :)

I bought this in hopes that it would help my son stop biting his nails and let me tell you...this stuff works! I tried it out on my own nails and can say that the taste is very bitter, and will get anyone to avoid tasting that!

UPDATE: Been just over a week now and this stuff definitely helps stop biting nails. It is gross. May have a weird chemical taste and I immediately need water or something to drink as soon as I taste it. I finally have white "tips" on all my nails at once. Haven't seen that in many, many years. I will keep using this stuff until I know I have broke this bad habit. Maybe will be able to put nail polish on in another month maybe. Now,it is End of July 2022. It says you can wear over nail polish. I will try to update at end of August. BTW, I do not like long nails so if I can get them to grow to at least the tips of my skin, I will be so excited.The taste is absolutely nasty. I have tried others in the past and I could tolerate that one but not this stuff. I haven't been able to bite my nails over 24hrs now. I applied my second coat tonight. First two lasted longer than expected. If this works, I will be able to grow nails. I have been biting my nails since I was very young. I hope I can use this as it says and it does not affect my nails in any way. Says it stimulate nail growth. I pray it helps make them stronger too. Please excuse my hand picture. My daughter said if this helps, she will start to work on my cuticles and help my nails look better. I even tried biting the skin hanging and definitely didn't like the taste. Have water nearby if you do and can't stand it. Yucky! Happy with my ourchase for now. Not sure how to rate the flavor. Is it a 5 star because it says what it is supposed to do or is it a one star because it is disgusting? I will give it a five star because it speaks the truth. Dries pretty quick too. Almost forgot, I have washed and sanitized my hands multiple times the last 48 hours and it still is on. Just wondering if it is harmful if tasted since I have tried several times and made is it nasty!

5 weeks ago I literally couldn’t stop myself from making my fingers bleed. Like, touching things hurt. I got this nail polish off Amazon MONTHS ago and decided to give it a whirl. It made me mindful for like, 2 weeks, and I was so ready to be done - I’ve been so ready to be done for like, 15 years - that it just took. I applied it all over my fingers literally once. Everywhere I bite - not just the nails. It stuck around for WEEKS. I STILL got bits of it when I tried nibbling 3 weeks later even after a manicure and showers and constant hand washing. And now I have a whole freaking bottle so if I start regressing I can just reapply and make the nail biting consummately unenjoyable again.It’s truly terrible. Highly recommend. Do not make food within the first 2 weeks of applying unless you wear gloves. I mean it. The favor transfers to everything you touch.Like, I really cannot express how awful it tastes. I’m having flashbacks just writing this. The thought of how bad it tastes is enough to make me hate the mere idea of chewing my fingers because now I associate them with how bad that stuff tastes. It even helped me with touching my face, that’s how bad it is. If I touched near my mouth that day, I paid for it later. And you’re talking to the girl who gnawed her way through any and all nail polish and bandaids filled with pepper. It’s the real deal that can actually make you stop.This is not a paid ad, it’s actually that gross. The real selling point though, in my opinion, is that it LINGERS.I’m over a month in, and my biggest issue is that I’m not used to having nails and it feels weird and I want to chew them to what I’m used to, but now I just, blegh, feel like that kind of compulsion is more of a punishment than a reward.Seriously. Do it. Make putting your fingers in your mouth as gross to you as it looks to other people. It is so worth it. I can pick up change for literally the first time in my life. I can change the sheets without searing pain. I can *scratch an itch through a layer of clothing.* My cats love getting actual scritchies. Who knew nails could be so useful?

This works . I only put two coats on 5 days ago and I still can tell it's on there. Worth it !

This is going to be a weird review because I'm personally happy with how it works, and I keep buying it. However, I haven't completely stopped biting my nails; what it has successfully done is it has made me wait until my nails are longer so I don't bite my cuticles and dry skin. It does taste bad, and it's hard to escape it. The other thing I don't mind but may be a negative to most people is that it peels off easily after a day (but peeling it off actually gives me something to do other than bite them).

If applied everyday for a week straight I promise the nail biting habit will be gone. Getting this in your mouth once is so traumatic you’ll never want to taste it again - which is the whole point
