The socket is self learning, so you may have to switch on and hold, then off, then on and off again. After you have done this then it should switch on and off instantly at the touch of the button.

Yes you can - it's nice and easy to 'teach' a remote to respond to a number of remotes.

They seem to have a habit of doing that maybe it’s a distance thing try to contact the maker I have two lamps on one controller quite like it did not plan that
