Detail is really cute, perfect little set of clothes for cheap that your child can play with their Barbie’s. Some of the dress straps ripped very easily but they were on budget & I expected it to be somewhat fragile with toddler hands. There was a great variety and would buy more!

Let's face it: Everyone is on this listing because they searched for "cheap Barbie clothes". Why are so many people complaining about the quality? What exactly was expected for under $8 when getting this many items?You can expect to pay $8 for ONE branded Mattel Barbie outfit including shoes and accessories so the fact that you are getting so many things for so little money should tell you that you should not expect also very high quality. The people who made them certainly did not earn what they should have. I don't expect them to do their best work at volume for super low factory wages. I expect them to make cheap doll clothes that wouldn't pass inspection for Mattel.For the PRICE, The stitching and extruding is fine. It's not perfect but for under $0.45 per item I don't expect it to be perfect. The Velcro is evenly placed. The appearance of the clothing is cute and generic because the clothes are generic and not branded Mattel Barbie clothes. The hems were turned and stitched and not trimmed with pinking shears. That's better quality than some more expensive cheap doll clothes.The idea is for these to be a good value for parents whose children who play with dolls and lose things regularly. I've already lost half the shoes because I play with my dolls and I'm 47. This is great for me. The clothes are not for collectibles or display dolls. If that's what you're looking for, then pay collectible and display doll money.If you're wondering my girl doll is a collectible. Her name is "Larvie." She's the teenage daughter of a fly... Yes she's a maggot. And she's highly collectible, it took me MONTHS to get her and I play with her anyway. Not a bad set for the price point. The Kit comes with more accessories than clothes, but at least the patterns are more mature than many of the other sets available. The clothes come in a vacuum sealed package, so they are miss formed when you take them out of the package. A quick pressing with an iron, will make the cloths fit better. I also found that some dresses fit the dolls better than others. Some straps are too long, and some are too narrow to fit the midriff properly. Overall it is a nice set for the price point.
