Running a podcast audio signal from a sound mixer to the Zoom H4N Pro audio recorder, and was weary of regular shutdowns of the Zoom to replace batteries. Have been using this power adapter with the Zoom recorder every two weeks for the past five months, and am glad I purchased it. It has saved a lot of hassle for a low price.

You need this if you run phantom power
Love my H4N Pro. However, if you want to run condenser mics, your batteries will die quickly. I highly recommend this adapter. It worked great to power the unit and especially to provide the phantom power for the mics. The "pin" does stick out if the unit father than I would have expected, but it functions as expected.

It fits. It operates my recorder. The plug is 1/8 inch too long but I guess that’s ok.
