Really like this lighter
Its no where as dependable as a zippo. (wind protection wise) but i will say i like this lighter very much. It holds fuel very well with minimal leakage (evaporation) Has a good weight. Sturdy. All in all, its a pretty great lighter. Again.. while i'd take a zippo in the woods over this guy any day. Its a bit unique and works very well. Use it regularly. Be cautious not to over fill, as it will literally shoot globs of fire all over when you push the button to pop the lid and and spark the wick. Just a fair warning :)

Fantastic lighter. Happy to add it to my collection.
The media could not be loaded. This lighter is GREAT! Operates flawlessly and isn't too bulky or heavy. I'd definitely recommend it for any lighter user or enthusiasts. Works great in windy conditions and never fails it provide a flame. Works with regular lighter fluid & for that I am happy. Don't hesitate, it'd make a great gift for anyone who needs a light. Like it more than my zippo ....
I love this lighter but it has a flaw and sadly that flaw caused me to render the lighter unsuable for right now . Back story ... So when I first got the lighter it struggled to light I had to click the button 5-6 times to get it to finally light . I got frustrated because everything seemed operational and in good shape I plenty of spark plenty of fluid the cotton was good wick was good so why the heck won't it light ? Well one day I'm at a lighter shop where they primarily sell zippo lighters ( I'm a mild collector " I'm just browsing and the store owner sparks up a Convo as they do and we get to talking about vintage lighters blah blah well I pull this lighter out and show the guy . He recognized it and said he's those are good replicas they light great I just don't like the brass finish you should polish it . I said that's thing it doesn't light great . He says let me look so he takes it and sparks it 5,6,7,8 times says hmm I got this and pulls out some tweazers from behind the counter and pulls the wick up a bit further from the factory length . He sparks it again . Bam first time ! I'm excited again bam first click . Hands it back there you go my friend just needed a wick adjustment . God ! Why didn't I try that I know better ! Any way for several months this lighter was my everyday carry until one day it stopped producing spark . Ok no problem just needs a new flint that's normal . So I go home grab my zippo flints and try to drop one in .... Doesn't fit hmm that's strange ok try another and another none fit . Ok let me grab my bag of cheap Chinese replacement flints surely these will fit right ? Wrong none fit . So ok no problem good excuse to go back to the lighter shop . I wanna browse and pick up some supplies for the zippos anyway . Go to the owner hey zippo flints won't fit in my replica . Hmm really they should ... Ikr but they don't . Let me take a look . Hmm strange they don't fit do they ok let's try these ... And these ... And these ... And these . Hmm something is wrong . The owner takes out a small file he uses for repairs and files a zippo flint and gets it to fit in the tube about a 1/4" then it stops strange it won't go any further . Long story short the flint tube isn't straight at all and the diameter isn't correct nor the same down the length of the tube . Frustrated I went home with the filed flint and filed it a bit more on my own in my frustration and impatients I jammed the flint down the tube using a skinny nail so now it's impossible to get back out and the spring isn't capable of applying enough pressure to the sticker wheel . I will try to drill out the flint with a small drill bit at some point but . But I doubt I can fix the tube issue due to the treads etc. I really love this lighter and I haven't seen anyone else with this issue so I'm thinking it's a fluke but dang am I frustrated . I guess I'll just have to buy a new one but that's not the point .

It is neat
Classic design. I really like it. It can be aggrevating to have to refill, but it is so fun to use you forget about the "hassel"

Inexpensive, works well
The lighter functions as described, has lit every time. To flip the cover back down to extinguish the flame is a little tricky because the cover is small. The general directions covers all kinds of lighters and is in very small print. It remains to be seen how difficult it is to change flints, wicks or the wadding. Overall, satisfied so far.

Great Lighter - Until You Burn a Hole in Your Pocket...
well the title says it all... i loved this lighter. a lot. until one day i was having a conversation with a buddy of mine while cooking dinner, when suddenly the smell of melting plastic filled the air, and i felt a warm sensation above my right thigh. it was then when i realized there's no safety on this lighter, so when you accidentally open it in your pocket, you'll ruin your jogging pants, and burn your leg.

Don't buy
I bought 2 of these at different times the first one worked until the flint needed changed I put a Zippo flint in and the springs on sides of the striker wheel sprung. I thought it was just a bad one. Bought the second one two days after I got it the same thing happened as the first one didn't change the flint it just sprung. What a piece of garbage. The company sent me a new one free of charge 6/18 still don't know what type of flint to use. We will see. Customer support was awesome though.
