Crimp tool nicely made with extra blades included. It worked very smoothly. I had an existing tool, but bought this as I much prefer the Pass Through connectors. These connectors are much easier to use and it is much easier to see that you have the wires correctly set for someone that is older.

I have been looking for a decent RJ45 Crimping Tool for a long time to replace my old one. The crimper is about half the size of my old crimper. This crimper got everything you need for crimping or installing ethernet cables. This crimper comes with a cutter, a built in stripper, a safety lock and the most feature i like on this crimper is the past thru wire connector cutter. It cuts all the wire at the ends of the connector the same time you crimp the connector, you don't even need to use a knife or blade to cut the wires (safety first) . I hate making ethernet connections. This pass through style does help, but still a little challenging for a non skilled armature.Kit worked great except for the stripper. As i read somewhere else the stripper cuts a little too deep, damaging the small wires below. I lightly used a rat tail file (round file) on the rounded plastic part of the stripper. Now the cutter doesn't cut as deep. Now everything works great.I used for POE camera, made two ethernet connections and works great.

My home came pre-wired with ethernet cables to wall ports in each room. But the other end of the cables were just hanging loose and unterminatef in a metal wall box in the laundry room. With this crimper kit I had everything I needed and was easily able to crimp RJ-45 connectors onto the cables and hook them into an ethernet switch. Now my incoming internet gets sent thru the wall to my ethernet switch and distributed throughout the house. I have mesh wifi boxes connected with high speed gigabit wired back haul for high speed wifi everywhere thru the house and garage, and all my TVs have wired connections from wall ports for less buffering. Wonderful and easy to achieve with this tool kit.

The kit contains everything you need to cut and replace connectors on Cat 6 and below Ethernet cable. Very pleased with the product quality. Good quality and clear instructions. I'd recommend this for anyone wanting to cut cables to the length need or to cut the end of in order to fish the cable through a wall or floor then make a new connection.

This product worked just as advertised, and the cost and parts are well worth the cost.

I replaced my 20yr old RJ45 crimp tool and tester with this one. Great upgrade! It’s very nice to have a single tool for terminating cat6. And the tester is a breath of fresh air. It Makes locating outlets in my patch panel a breeze. It even found a couple of outlets that were miswired (A vs B).
