A Strong Variety of Early 2000s Hits
I am fortunate to have been privileged to grow up listening to an eclectic mix of music from the time I was 7 until I was 19 years old because multiple family members in my adoptive family listened to a range of music that included music from the rock music, country music, and oldies. Additionally, I went to some public schools in the Midwestern part of the U.S. where a multiple number of the students listened to hip-hop and rock music. However, it was after I joined the navy by June 14, 2000 and lived in different places to where I was exposed to diverse forms of hip-hop music after living in multiple areas after this timeframe via radio, online, andor music collection featuring various artists while residing in the following places: Japan, California, Florida and Virginia. This indirectly influenced why I fortunately and easily recognized a multiple number of the catchy tunes on this collection that include track six featuring Pharrell Williams P. Diddy Busta Rhymes, track 10 feat. Fat Joe Ashanti Ja Rule, track 12 by N.O.R.E., track 16 by Ludacris, track 17 by Ying Yang Twins etc. However, The Source Presents Hip-Hop Hits Vol. 6 is also good to give a try regardless of your personal music history background/personal background if you are an eclectic music listener.

Legendary hits, but clean versions
Still banging 2024 to infinity. But they are clean versions since this is a compilation. Not always a bad thing since radio play would have sounded the same but letting you know if you read this.

Brings me back to high school!!!
2002 was my last year of high school and all of these songs bring me back to that time in my life. It included the short lived reign of Murder Inc... Before 50 Cent did a TKO to Ja Rule's career (who, in retrospect, really wasn't a wanksta). It was a time when Baby and Lil Wayne made music with Mannie Fresh (who actually was a pretty good producer)...this of course was before Lil Wayne dressed like a prepubescent skater kid. Other than a few hip hop artists like OutKast and Scarface, NY was really running things in the early 2000s, until "snap music" came on the scene (or as I like to call it "instructional rap" lol).Ahhhh, nostalgia.I love every song on this album except "Boottee." I recall lame Benzino only having one hot song, "Rock the Party." I don't remember this Boottee song at all and I'm not really crazy about it now.
