This seems to be exactly what I was looking for: digital clock with large, easy-to-read numbers and easy-to-use controls (buttons clearly labeled, simple easy-to-understand instructions). I've tried other brands (Best Buy, Emerson) but the button labels were so hard to read that I had to tape on my own hand-lettered labels to tell which was which, and instructions were VERY confusing. Also, both of them died after only about 6 months. Since this model just arrived, I can't yet tell how long it will last, but it was VERY easy to set up. Of course, like all electronics these days, the instructions were printed in VERY tiny print. But once I managed to read the model # (SPC033), I found a legible version on line. Price seems like good value for money.

We wanted a clock that we could see from across the room to place on our entertainment center. The clocks on our electronic devices are too small to see from our chairs. This one is great! Bright enough to read easily, even in sunshine, but not overly bright in a darkened room. I just ordered a second one because we liked the first one so much. Unfortunately the first one started malfunctioning after a bit over 2 and 1/2 years of use. The sections of the digits started lighting up randomly and the time was unreadable because of that. That's the only reason I didn't give this clock a full 5 star rating. I'm not going to complain about 2.5 years of use out of it. I hope it was just a fluke and that my new clock will last even longer.

This is a very easy to use alarm clock. The numbers are large and easy to see. I got the green display, and it is very, very bright. It adds lots of light to the room, even on the dim setting.

This clock deserves 10 Stars! It's been working perfectly, is easy to set, and looks great. Big Bright Numerals!! I love it.

I like the small size, the no-nonsense “time only” display. The dimmer function is nice, although I’d prefer an automatic dimmer. I have to manually change it twice a day. Also… It’s supposed to use a 9v battery as a backup…..but the battery is too big for the compartment. I have a similar one (or maybe the same one) from a prior year…checked that one and it doesn’t have a battery installed either, so must’ve run into the same problem there. Annoying, but not a deal breaker considering the low price. I don’t need the alarm, so can’t comment on that.
