Educational and fun!
Got this for my child, but my husband seems to be enjoying it more! You can build simple or more complicated structures to cater to different ages and to demonstrate different concepts.Only negative things are that we feel the need to get more magnetic parts (feels like we need to supplement since there's a lot of chutes vs. magnetic tiles) and, as others have mentioned, it's not easy to connect the non-magnetic parts (e.g. magnetic tiles to the chutes) so a young child would not be able to build it up on their own. Of course, they can play with the magnetic tiles on their own - they are so versatile, we used them to build shapes (cubes, pyramids), houses, etc. A nice addition to other types of open-ended toys like blocks! The magnets are strong, though. So young children may accidentally get their skin caught between the tiles. My child had great fun having the balls 'compete' with each other on similar runs! Would love to know if there was any way to replace the batteries in the 3 balls that are able to light up as my other child is too young to play with these now. It's also a great quiet-time toy to let your older child play with if you have to be away with your baby and need the place to be relatively quiet. All in all, a great purchase. No regrets at all!

Lots of fun for everyone
I got this for my 6 year old great nephew to play with when he visits. He spent hours putting it together, thinking about what else he could do, then re-configuring it. Of course he got his papa and me involved with the re-configurations at times and provided some opportunities for a little teaching too. I would recommend it for anyone - it can be quite entertaining.

Fun for older kids but can be frustrating.
Is all about expectations, what is realistic for kids at given age, and what you are looking for kids to learn. The tiles themselves are sturdy but looking the pictures, I wasn't expecting our 7 years old son, who has played with plenty of magnetic tile toys at home and at school, to be able assemble them all by himself from the get go. He was definitely frustrated and upset that things kept falling apart at first. And these things are pretty unforgiving. I mean you see some of the pictures with tiles in a long/tall vertical line and I think is unrealistic to expect kids to just know that some extra support is needed during the construction phase especially when even as an adult, things fell on me pretty easily. In the end, I am glad our son learned some patience and is accepting things will fall and he just have to try again. One thing I that could be improved is the "instructions" on how to build the examples are almost non-existent (just a couple pictures from different angles of the completed build).

El mejor juego familiar
Creía que este era un regalo para mi hijo, pero resultó siendo un regalo para toda la familia. Nos encanta pasar horas y horas haciendo estructuras y lanzando las bolas por ellas

Great toy!
Second present our grandson opened....... almost forgot to open other presents. Immediately began to play with it.Three great things about this set - the tubes, the glowing balls, and works well with other magnatile sets. Oh forgot to mention the spinning doors and stick on letters! Great fun for everyone!

Fun but not too sturdy
The media could not be loaded. It’s fun. However the tiles have the hole in order to connect to other pieces so it makes the tile not as sturdy and if you move it slightly the whole things falls apart. I still like the toy and I will probably buy more but I think I’ll use my other solid tiles as a base and then add this in order to have a stronger foundation. My kids love the light up balls and they get really creative when build with these.
