The media could not be loaded. For years I have been plagued by sewer odors, they were coming from by basement drain. Every day or two, I had to pour water in the drain to block the gas, in the summer time it wasn’t as bad as it is when there is less humidity and the dehumidifier is not working much, at least then water is going into the drain and helping. It was so bad, without water in the drain, I could hold my hand over the drain and feel the air coming out.Today I got these and immediately went to the basement, popped one of those in and immediately the odor stopped. I poured water in and it passed through and closed up blocking the gas from coming through. I am ecstatic ! It was always an embarrassment to have someone come to the house and we’d have to offer an apology and an explanation. No more, no worries. I’ve no idea how long these will last, so I’m going to buy more, they are well worth the money.

Tenia problemas con el mal olor que subia por las tuberías y en algunas de estas inclusive salían algunas cucarachas, con esto resolví ambos problemas. Hasta el momento vamos bien, un mes y contando.

Haven't been able to install. Too small for an actual 1.5in PVC Such. 40 pipe. They go in and stay but pop up very easily. Advertising should be specific about type of pipe. I'm looking now for a rubber ring, but will likely end up in the trash.

Unable to attach threaded cap to pipe with valve inserted into pipe. Tried placing valve top into screw cap and then inserting valve into pipe but cap would not turn around valve and not enough threaded cap left to attach to drain pipe. Tried silicon grease to allow cap to twist around valve, but not enough space left in screw cap to drain pipe. Will not work with under sink piping.

The shower drain always started to smell funky after being clean for a few days. Figured out it was sewer gasses leaking from the drain. Simply installed this and the odor was gone! They need to be replaced every few months but it’s worth it knowing my bathroom and home won’t smell from the drain.

I am loving it the reason I bought this item for was to stop drain smell in my shower and it definitely does the job … no SMELLS … I been using for about 6 months or more and it’s still effective and water drains from the shower quickly … and I only change it once because I didn’t want to clean it off…Excellent FOR SMELL

I have a 1 1/4" shower drain with no p-trap so odor was coming back from the septic. It's set in a concrete slab so not much I could do to fix it. I dropped one of these in. At first it drained very slowly, and then not at all. I pulled it and reinsert it and now it drains great. It seems to have stopped the odor. Inexpensive solution. We'll see how long it lasts. Very happy!
