Mask Extender, Face Mask Holder, Anti-Slip Mask Buckle Strap (4pcs)

This actually works. I wear glasses and hearing aides. I can now put a mask on and take it off without becoming entangled with the above. After three episodes of retracing my steps to find a hearing aide in the sidewalk, I decided I needed to find a solution. I do find it a little difficult to get the item to stay connected. I have found it works best to attach, wear at my neck, and, then, just pull up the mask as I approach where I need the mask.

As someone with hearing aids over my ears and glasses, mask loops bring the risk of pulling off my glasses or, as happened more than a few times, pulling my hearing aids off and flipping them away, into the air and almost being lost. I ordered a pack of 4 of these “ear protectors”LIKE: they can effectively pull the mask loops toward the back of my head and hold them firmly there (taking all pressure off the ears). Used carefully, it might hold the mask firmly in place depending on where on the back of your head the’ll stay (tightening the draw strings to be either below, over or above the ears). This review applies to double layer paper surgical masks and may not apply or even be needed for the N95 masks with their 2 rubber loops extending around the head horizontally both above and below the ears.DISLIKE:1. The 1st of the 4 ear protectors in the package seemed to work ok. But the 2nd time I put it on and tightened the 2 cords, one of them pulled out of the plastic piece holding the 2 side cords together and thus making it harder to keep ahold of the 2 side cords behind the head.2. With another protector, the mask was held secured with the side cords running below the ears and tended to slip downward on the back of the head and neck if tightened over or above the ears. However, with the cords running below the ears, they tended to pull the mask down off the nose.3. The hooks that easily slip onto the mask’s ear loops, also easily slip off. These hooks cannot be closed and one always slipped off in the process of taking off the paper masks.

These are fantastic! I wear eyeglasses, hearing aids and oxygen cannulas. These are listed for masks, but I use them to hold my cannulas. Before my glasses and hearing aids were getting tangled in the cannula, problem solved, no more tangles! I wear them 24/7 without the slightest discomfort. I do recommend these.

I have a lot of trouble with masks sliding down, as I have a small head and many of the ear loops just don't work for me. These holders are really handy to help cinch the mask in the back of the head and you can tuck the cord under your hair if you wish.The downside is that the clips on the end are hard plastic and don't have a closure lever. It's more of a j-hook and one side is more closed than the other, so often one side comes loose and the other side stays attached if raising and lowering the mask so try to keep it around your neck if our running errands and going between the car and the stores.I'd buy these again, but the design could use an improvement of the hooks. The cinching mechanism works well.

My audiologist suggested that I purchase mask extenders so that my face mask did not interfere with my hearing aids. I was sure that was a great idea and ordered this pack.The extenders were reasonably priced and arrived quickly. The first thing that I noticed is that the first one I tried was broken. Because it was a multi-pack, I wasn't too bothered. However, as I tried the others, not one of them stayed connected to my mask. The design of the hooks was defective and fell off the mask making it a total fail.Nice idea but poorly designed so I cannot recommend this product to anyone.

I wear a mast to work all day every day and this extension thing is great. I don't actually need to make my mask bigger, I just like that the clips hold it up around the back of my neck so I don't need to loop the mask around my ears. My ears were getting sore, especially with the elastics some of those masks use. This is also nice because if I pull my mask off my face, it'll stay around my neck like a necklace, meaning I don't have to put my mask down on a dirty surface, or forget to take it with me.

The IDEA is great. And once you get it on (usually with help), it works for a nice snug fit. But the plastic hoop is too big, and we found it hard to use, esp. if you can remove and then replace...very difficult! Would I purchase them again? Probably not. Too bad, too. I sent them ahead as a gift. Not cheap if you figure you aren't using them!!!

When I settle in for a five or six hour (or longer) plane ride, I dread the idea of mask loops pulling on my ears the whole time. So I use one of these, which braces the mask firmly but gently across the back of my head.Buy extras -- you will lose them -- but they are very useful.
