I've used this many times now and it is awesome. The quality of the stainless is outstanding - the handle is very nice - easy to grab and hold - but the best part is the pouring spout - OMG, it is PERFECTION. I know that sounds a bit dramatic, but when pouring hot wax, you need the precision. I purchased another one this size and also the 50 oz. Side note: I use 1 pound of flake soy wax at a time - the whole pound does not fit initially, so I use a wide-mouth canning funnel to pour the flakes in until they start melting down. When completely melted, it is about half full.

I bought this to make my beeswax candles. I am please with the small size- Its easy to store, but it makes a large enough batch of wax for up to six of my small candles, which is perfect for what I need it for. Easy to clean, and the pours out is easy to pour from without making a huge mess. Would definitely recommend for beginners.

This is a great beginner friendly product, however if you are looking for big batches this is not for you. I can only make about 6 wax melts in one go with this, and if I was making candles I would likely be able to make 1-2 small sized candles. It is difficult to fill with wax because of the small opening as well. It is a high quality product, but very small. Keep that in mind!

This helped me make less of a mess while making candles — less spills and drips

Candle Making Pouring Pot, 32oz - I found it a perfect choice for pouring small wax candle jars. The "nose" is perfectly designed for a narrow and precise jet of oil or hot wax. Small 32oz size is not too small and not too large for this purpose. Just, don't fill the pot too much. I found that over the half or up to 3/4 full pot will help make a perfect precision when pouring the hot wax or oil out. I am a retuning customer and have purchased 8 of these pots so far. I tried other shapes and “noses”, but they did not work as well as this one. Highly recommended for pouring small jars of candles or/and oil and hot wax-based product.
