Very good drop in and long term use product
I have 2 K&N filters for my 4x4 and 2 for my Harley. The reason I have 2 for each vehicle is that I can remove and replace when a change is needed. I simply swap them out, clean and dry the dirty filter at leisure and store the oiled element until needed. Due to road conditions where I live I find I can go from oil change to oil change before having to change them. No way I can go 50,000 miles before servicing. In my experience K&N elements filter better than paper and are more economical in my situation. Engine breathes better revving more freely, fuel consumption improves a little and the air box and throttle body are always absolutely clean! Added bonus' are no contaminated paper filters to dispose of and no trips to the parts store. Awaaah........... Don't forget the cleaning kit and use the cleaner and oil sparingly. Little is needed to restore these filters to like new. Initial outlay can save a lot over the long haul in my situation.

It is hard to notice any difference in performance as the description makes one to think it makes, but the engine feels like it got quieter.
