The holes are in the wrong place for the bottom part of the hinge. I need to make new holes (or I can leave the hinges off). Board must have moved or machine got out of alignment during the process.The instructions are real precise and easy to follow. I was impressed with that. The locking screw over the screw/bolt was an interesting engineering development and easy to use however it does come loose if there is not enough space to tighten it inside the hole.There was one long piece that came slightly warped and I had to fight it into place but it complied to my demands.All in all, I think it will work for what it was built for. It seems sturdy but I am still anchoring it to the wall. You have to be careful of it around water though. It is made of particle board.

The media could not be loaded. I was super excited for this item to come in and it didn’t disappoint. It fit great in my space, it has plenty of hooks and the trunk space for storage, and it looks really pretty. The assembly was the worst part for me. (1) This is definitely a TWO person job. Do not be stubborn and try to do the whole thing by yourself like I did, or you’ll be sitting there struggling for three hours. (2) I had no issues with any missing pieces or hardware for assembly, but one thing the package didn’t include was a kind of tool to assemble everything. All you’ll need is a screw driver, but mine happened to be misplaced at the time, so an allen wrench was used and I struggled majorly. (3) Be mindful of what you’re paying for. It looks sleek and nice overall in the finished product, but the pieces are not the best quality and can be damaged easily, so no drills or over tightening the screws! Overall I’m very happy and I look forward to seeing how long this lasts.

Delivered ahead of schedule, yeah! Not a very large or heavy box, hmm?? Directions for assembly are diagram only and fairly unclear, boo. Be cautious as to right and wrong side, we took it apart twice, sad! Took 2 of us 3 hours to assemble (because he started without me!) Ours is black and the fake wood (not even particle board) chipped in a couple places and had scuff marks that will be behind the coats, oh well! I'm disappointed because it's flimsier than expected. I really loved the pictures, and it fits where I wanted nicely, it's replacing a coat tree and shoe rack so it will do until I can find a nicer, heavier one.

The product is exactly as described so I can't knock the company. My wife just didn't notice the dimensions so she didn't realize this thing is SMALL. If you have a mudroom for children this is what you need. If you're an average size adult you may want to shop around for something else.

Due to some house repairs, I was unable to install it right away, which meant I missed the return window.Upon installation, I quickly realized that the quality is far from what you would expect for home furniture; it feels more appropriate for a children's playhouse. The top part is particularly concerning, as it’s only attached by two small screws, making it quite flimsy.I attempted to hang my small laptop bag on it, and to my dismay, one of the hinges broke almost immediately. This has made the item not only impractical but also unsafe for everyday use.Overall, I regret this purchase and would advise potential buyers to look for something more durable and reliable. Save your money for a product that can withstand regular use!

Put this together by myself in about an hour. Directions were easy. Fits in my entryway well, nice to have it for extra storage and a place to put on your boots.
